I can't tell because I am aware of the fact that some people here legitimately don't like me.

Either-

 

A. My optimism isn't negative enough for them

B. They think I've got connections with Bioware brass(fun fact, I don't)

C. They have certain beliefs about my personality and such that are totally off base

 

And there's probably more reasons, enough to fill the alphabets of several languages.

 

As for user titles for post counts, PLEASE NO

 

I already have the occasional newbie assuming I must be a Bioware developer/moderator based on my post count alone, sending me a message about a thread they need closed or checked.

 

I don't mind when people message me for help, but usually its under the assumption I have more power than I do, so if I can help I will, but I usually link them to the page listing all the moderators so they know who to actually look for if they need direct aid.

 

And c'mon man, whatever user titles they'd have on post count, they'd have one just for me.

Can I feel both? Its mostly sad though. This forum has way too much inherent negativity to be healthy.

Not even just that. If I do the same thing other people do, I get *expletive* for it and they don't. They don't look inwardly.

 

I got shade from other forum posters for posting quite a bit in the Twitter thread over in the DA section. Keep in mind, I was posting with loads of people including a Bioware developer. But because there was a lot of posting and none of it was new information on DA, I was the bad guy.

 

One person was like, "Of course it was LP, can only be with all the spamming" I'm like, "WHO IS THIS PERSON!? I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO THEY ARE, WHAT THE HELL? HAHAHAHA"

 

I keep my mouth shut because I don't try to start fights here, but a few people had my back without me asking for it, so that was nice and gave me a little faith in the forums. Those folks defending me were like, "You people do this all the time, watch it happen again in a couple of days when y'all are doing it and it'll be all good just because its not him"

 

Lo and behold, exactly two days later, the same people giving me shade were doing the exact same thing. Except without even a Biodev as part of it. lololol

 

It IS like high school. Its mental.

That sucks, I feel like the game sections are really way worse then it is down here. Im relatively new, but I didnt spend much time in the dai sections. I came right down here and settled in. Havent had any problems, mostly everyone just leaves me alone. Probably because im such a clown tbh.

My hair got a thread closed once. People blamed me for that one, though I guess I can understand it. And then I re-created the thread since no one else did and that got a laugh from most folks, hahaha

Sienna deleted her account because she was getting harassed over PM.  It's a shame.  She was a cool girl.

 

I don't know what happened to Reload/Mike.  He changed his name and then, vanished, like, the next day.  Also a shame because he had excellent taste in family dramedies.

And that's what puzzles me.. why didn't she just block whoever harassed her?... I've had to deal with quite a few stalkers in my time here at bsn and I've just used the block function, it seems to function pretty well. There is also a "report message" button, that one is pretty easy to use as well...

 

Maybe she wasn't aware of it. Don't know. Damned shame regardless. You shouldn't ever have to use those buttons and features.
