I wouldn't even be surprised at this point. He even recommended me this to read as he found it casually on a bookshelf and found it interesting-

But this is the "OFF TOPIC" Section.... it's the one place people can come to unwind, it's not supposed to be serious.

A big problem though is that trolling is promoted here by people. I don't know if people realize they're doing it, but by responding to a troll, you're giving them more of a reason to do it.

 

Best course of action is to post nothing towards them, report them, and carry along in threads the trolls haven't posted in. They get dealt with, and the idea gets around that trolling gets you nowhere.

 

Problem is, here trolling gets rewarded by people and thus, it festers. And right now we don't have the mod and dev oversight like we used to so it can be dealt with accordingly.

I'm probably guilty of feeding the trolls. I will do my best to reform.

Maybe we can raise the level of discourse.

It'll hopefully lead to less Sienna-situations. No one should feel uncomfortable here, or to a less serious case, feel like they can't get a subject going with some traction without it spilling into some off topic rambling.

 

I think some folks forget that the off topic section is for subjects not Bioware related and NOT a place where going off the topic of a thread is expected.

The terribad thing is, we've all come together before, but its been united under negative circumstances.

 

Ex- The Bioware Bazaar, or Mass Effect Deception's reception on the forums. hahahaha

I remember the Mass Effect deception thing. People were burning copies of the book, at least one guy did on youtube

Lol, unfortunately I wasn't around for either of those things.

Tho I had heard some stories about the bsn before I joined, some good some bad.

 

Bioware Bazaar- So Bioware hyped this big major thing. They had a COUNTDOWN. Everybody was mad hype for whatever it was. People speculated, people guessed, but no one had a clue. Bioware only said it was for EVERYONE.

 

Then we found out it was the Bioware Bazaar- basically Bioware giving away merch and such things. Except you could only partake in it if you were in the United States. And only from certain states.

 

...yeah.

 

So the forums erupted, like "what do you mean whole Bioware community?"

 

Everyone had signatures that read, "I used to be part of the Bioware community, but now I'm just from *X*"

 

It was hilarious

 

Mass Effect Deception- Don't get me started. The last novel in the Mass Effect series of books. It was written by a different author than the rest, the guy didn't know what he was writing about, and it was pure GARBAGE. So everyone united and ragged on it. One dude burned a copy on film. lol

I got the first part about her being harassed, it was just the other part where Budgee comes in and drops that thing and leaves again I got curious about. If he knows something, he should say something ASAP instead of speaking in codes.

I think it's best though just to give Sienna some peace. I know a few things too tbh (not necessarily about her but about others), though I don't say anything because I'm not in the mood to ruin anyone else's day. And to be honest, part of me feels like I'm on the way out, too. Maybe I'll just put together a BSN dirt dossier and dump it when I leave muhahahah.

Indeed. And Prince, there's a good chance I was in the clique you were talking about. And although I'd like to say that we were led into it by the actions of one person, that doesn't really excuse it. So, I apologise for any crap I've given you, intentional or incidental.

One- You better not leave. We lose enough of the old guard, we don't need to lose more.

 

Two- I've never had a problem with you and I still think you're the *expletive* so don't worry about it. Hell I don't even remember you doing anything to me so IF anything happened, the water passed under the bridge, evaporated, science happened and it acid rained on Bieber's face. We're good.
