We've all had those brilliant ideas for video games, which for some reason no one in the videogaming industry has decided to make. Probably because they don't really appeal to anyone else other than yourself, but never the less, what ideas for a video game, which you think would be brilliant, have you come up with?

I'll shoot:

 

ASOIAF/Game of Thrones: Total war.

 

Seriously. The awesome strategy of Total War combined with the world and politics of westeros would be awesome. Historical battles could be replaced with battles from the series (battle of blackwater, battle of the wall, etc, etc), the dozens of different families would create a giant selection of factions, politics could take a larger role in it than previous total war games, we get to fight in Iconic locations (moat calin, Kings Landing, Castle black, etc), there could be an expansion pack for Essos and god-dammit creative assembly, just start talking with George RR Martin!

A horror game where you create and customize your character at the beginning, then go through an intro and make certain choices that outline what your character fears and/or cares about, that then affects the rest of the game. You get different choices as the game goes along.

 

Essentially a horror/rpg game.

 

Not sure if there is a game out there like that already, I just thought the idea was neat.

Dragon Age: Siege of Power

 

The Hero of Ferelden leads a war against the Inquisition for the control of most of Thedas. Both the HoF and and the Inquisitor must gain the support of ALL the different nations and powers of Thedas, including the Qunari and Imperium to cumulate in one huge battle royale at the end.

 

You can choose either side to play but not both.

 

Wild Cards: Include who does Leliana as divine support? Who do the Grey Wardens support? Who do the Dalish support? Who does Hawke support?

I've always wanted a sequel to Nightshade Part 1: The Claws of Setukh. The name begs for it, it has Part 1 in the title for crying out loud. Despite the fact that the intro was pretty dark, the game was actually fairly light-hearted (except when it needed to be dark):

 

 

Nightshade was a unique game for the NES, you played as a vigilante by the name of Nightshade, formally Mark Grey, after a mysterious figure by the name of Setukh emerges, he bands together Metro City's four crime bosses who then lures Vortex, the city's protector, into a trap and kill him.

 

Due to Vortex being killed Metro City spirals into chaos, not being able to handle the anarchy, Mark Grey becomes Nightshade and pledges to take down the Rat King, Lord Muck, Goliath, Ninja Mistress and Setukh (all responsible for the crime).

 

What made Nightshade unique was the fact that it had death traps and a popularity meter. When you did acts, the popularity meter would go up or down (depending on whether you did good or bad) and if your popularity meter is extremely low people refer to you as Lampshade. The death trap mechanic was interesting in that every time your health bar went empty, you'd awake in a death trap and would have a chance to escape, if you failed then it was game over.

 

 

 

 

In continuation of Nightshade's Egyptian theme, it had lots of Egyptian themes, I want a second one to be made and called something along the lines of:

 

 

Nightshade Part 2: The Wrath of Ra. 

 

Something to do with Ra would make sense because of the fact that there was a very powerful item that you could assemble that would one-shot kill mummies called "Staff of Ra".

 

I know it'll never happen, but boy do I want it. Nightshade was way ahead of the curve back in the NES days.

A RTS/ RPG/FPS/TPS/ and a empier management game flight sim /exploration game set in a galaxy where you can be a admiral commanding armies or a simple deep space miner exploring desolate planets. Or an average Joe worker in that galaxy dealing with the wars waged innthe galaxy.
