So where can I like find runes for my staff that gives it another elemental effect? And also which element-runes are there? I know you can have like spirit rune, but can you have like fire rune on a cold staff?

Okay, thanks! Do you know specific locations for spirit runes or are they random?
If you wandered in here by accident from single player, The Still Ruins in the Western Approach have all of the Spirit Rune schematics and a chest that is guaranteed a Spirit Rune.
