I always roll with all females for my harem..er..party

Varric and Anders pretty much always had/have a spot in my party. Third spot is usually Isabela, I did one run with Fenris (I actually don't care for Fenris at all) and I had one run with Sebastian (when he was available anyway).

 

But yeah... Varric, Anders and Isabela seems to be my standard party. They're a fun combo, lots of sass!

I like Varric, and I like Fenris. Anders is OK as a character, but not a particularly nice person to have in your party. Sebastian is a complete nob.

 

But Isabella is far more versatile than Varric as a damage dealer and can be used as an off-tank. Fenris doesn't make a particularly great tank (at least not without mods), and is again outclassed by Isabella as a damage dealer. Merrill is a beast, and outclasses Anders when  properly specced, Aveline is pretty-much unkillable with the right build and gear, and I always play female Hawkes, purely because I really dislike the voice of the male Hawke. Therefore, yes I mostly seem to end up having an all-female party.

Hell, if it was possible, I would've tried making Merrill my healer after Act I.

 

 

In my version of DA:2, Merrill is my main healer, thanks to the awesome power of mods, that give me full access to all skill/magic trees on all party members and let's party members equip any items weapons or armor - just as it was in DA:O. This means that I can have an archer Isabella, a sword and shield fenris, a DPS Aveline and a Spirit Healer Merril if I so choose.

Not really. My favorite team was Carver, Fenris, and Varric.
