Are you saying I'm trolling? I'm saying your hating.
Incredibly lame pun award goes to me.
i am not hating. I am mildly amused that is all. Well if you think that is incredibly lame puns, you haven't seen the half of it, sweet cheeks.

Makse sense. I guess that explains why Joel Ostein is so blessed ![]()
Joel Ostein is a funny little git. So either friends or a guy with 2 different profiles, at least I will have fun. Tell your mama hi for me. both of them I mean.
Morinth is missing from this list.
No one likes Morinth.

Morinth got much more attention than she deserved the moment they made picking her over Samara an actual option.
Kaidan suffered from being a bit bland in comparison to the rest of the crew in ME1. Sure he's a nice guy without any major issues..but that makes him a little boring compared to the ship full of aliens, and Ashley, who has a lot more personality.
I like Kaidan by the way. But I can understand why some people thought he was dull.
My main problem with Kaidan is his "romance". It was actually somewhat interesting listening about Jump Zero, but just talking to him obviously leads him to believe I am interested in him. Suddenly he's all "I got signals." And there is no way of telling Kaidan that you're into Liara (who suddenly also thinks Shepard and Kaidan have something "special")...or to dissuade him without being an ass about it.
I liked him a lot better when I played as my only ManShep and could be his friend without tripping the romance. Same with Jacob in ME2.
That was a problem with pretty much everyone on the ship. I don't think it was done correctly.

I suspect a main cause with this has to do with the way the dialogue wheel presents the choice. The text on the wheel is rarely, if ever, what Shepard actually says. What you choose may look pretty neutral but then when Shepard speaks it comes out as something completely different. I remember the first time I played ME3 I awkwardly ended up apparently flirting with Kaidan in the hospital because of that. With that in mind I'm usually harshly renegade towards poor Cortex simply because I'm never sure what Shepard will ACTUALLY say if I select a nicer response.
All my guy characters are heterosexual... mainly because I am heterosexual... I have never romanced Kaidan. But he is a trusted crew member. He told me about Jump Zero, and how the Council is stonewalling me. I do not remember what I told him, but I do not believe there were any flirt options. Even if I had the option I still would not.

Just to clarify I was talking specifically about ME3. I can't remember precisely what it was I said but it essentially lead to Kaidan going "why Commander are you flirting with me? Nevermind, don't tell me, let me enjoy the fantasy" or something akin to that. It was perhaps one of the most awkward moments I've had in trilogy. You'd think I'd learn my lesson to be careful of what I say given my experience with Dragon Age 2.

I think he only says this if you buy him the bottle. Don't buy the bottle and he won't say it.
I will keep that in mind.

Morinth still is a better choice.
Especially if they are going to play that whole "ooh, resist the temptress" angle with the decision that they did, seeing as Samara is the one who actually has the bigger sex appeal advantage of the two.

The few times I had him in ME3, my femshep bought him the booze and didn't get that comment. I guess its just for maleshep.

I don't know what they were doing with that decision; although it does seem liked they put the choice in there for the sake of making a choice. There is no reason I can think of why any rational person would choose Morinth in that instance.

Morinth is one of the most interesting characters in ME, she did "deserve" that attention because many people like myself think she's very engaging. Sorry that you don't like her I guess? I can list a million ME characters who I felt didn't "deserve" to get screen time, but we'd probably disagree on most of them. Subjective as ****.
Also, Wtf? Why would people not kill Zevran, or do any of the ridiculous renegade decisions Bioware lets you make? The decision of Morinth vs. Samara is not particularly outrageous by Bioware standards.
The guy walking around the Normandy in ME3 who salutes Shepard when activated.
A lot of those people on the OP's list were from ME1. Many gamers didn't come into the series until 2, I always thought that that was why those characters weren't bigger. Especially Wrex, I don't think they even knew he existed.

Apparently only 36% of players met Wrex.

And they missed out on a great character.
