Concerning ABILITIES and mapping them to your Battle Menu - is there a way to Clear a button, specifically in Multiplayer?

I have all four mapped buttons, but two buttons are Barrier, and I'd like to clear one of them, so I don't accidentally hit 'circle' and trigger the ability.

(Is there a way to clear the buttons in single-player?)
