Greetings.

 

A couple of days ago I downloanded the Origin client, registered myself, bought and downloaded some Dragon Age games. Currently I am playing Dragon Age: Origins (Ultimate Edition). Always was playing "logged in", but subsequently I discovered that I also need to register my DAO on the social.bioware.com to have an online profile. So I did (also registered DA2, haven't played it yet though). Still, more than 12 hours passed, the game was played further for quite a while, there were several loggings out and in, but my DAO online profile remains absolutely empty - there are no characters, no achievments, nothing. Yes, it is expected to be just the right profile - at least the very Dragon Age brings me right to that page when I press "online profile" button in the game. And when I select "profile diagnostics", it writes just "Invalid persona/game combination".

 

Would be grateful for helping me to fix this problem. I would chat with the advisors at help.ea.com (game support), but I'm not very fluent in English, so I naturally prefer to communicate through forums and e-mail - I hope it will be more comfortable for everybody.

About 36 hours (including some hours of playing) have passed. I removed the old social.bioware.com cookies, just in case - but nothing has changed. I hate the idea that I'll need to start a new game in order to save my progress online, but just for the experiment I started a new character and saved the game - nothing has changed again.The problem stands; maybe I am doing something wrong, but I have no more ideas what it might be.

P.S.: Also when I try to e-mail the support (at  customersupport.ea.com; the link is at the bottom of social.bioware.com pages), some interesting things happen.

When I try to enter my login and password, the site indicates that either login or password are wrong. When I try to recover the login and enter my e-mail, the site writes that the letter is sent, but nothing is recieved. When I try to recover the password, the site writes about incorrect login. And when I finally try to register (mostly out of desperation ), my Firefox indicates a wrong redirect on the page (that will never be completed). The page is in Russian; I have no possibility to change the language there anyway.

 

I have a strong feeling that there is some glitch in the databases.

The problem stands, also I'm naturally unable to import any DA:O data into Keep (since it's made through BSN accounts) - just checked that. Btw, I've consulted with an online advisor, had just a beautiful dialogue (with a strong feeling that I communicate with some kind of a bot, really), and he finally recommended me to befriend my accounts - despite I have one and only one online account. My mind won't survive the plesantries of such dialogue again, I'm afraid.

 

Maybe I should just ask for a refund, I don't know. I've filled that survey (which is basically about Keep, but covers BSN data as well), but I'm not sure if something good will come out of it as well.

Continuing my personal investigation. The results seem intriguing.

First, just to sort out some possibilities: DA2 data seem to be uploaded and represented in the BSN profile correctly (I have started a test game). So the problem is about DA:O(UE), not about my account as a whole or something.

Second, the very Keep seems to recognize my in-game achievments in DA:O(UE), which are all represented as upload notifications ("4 hours ago"); yet it still refused to recognize any of my characters (the main one as well as several test ones).

Update: the Keep seems working properly, I've finally found my character. Strangely enough, it wasn't displayed during the world state loading, but maybe it's just because I am not proficient with Keep yet.

Conclusion: the trouble is solely about representation (or, more accurately, NON-representation ) of the uploaded data of DA:O(UE) in the BSN profile, while the very data seem to be uploaded normally, judging on the Keep. The problem is therefore not really critical, although I wonder if it will ever be solved.

Probably not. The problem lies partly within the game itself.

i to have the problem of my DA:O profiles not uploading. I have finished the main story after 35 hours of playtime. During these 35 hours i have been logged in the entire time.

 

Whenever i go to the bioware social site and want to check the 50 screenshots that are uploaded (accidentaly ticked upload screenshots). But i am unable to check them or run the profile diagnostics thing. i have noticed alot of people are having issues with this.

 

Is there any idea of fixing it? i had some mods installed but removed them just to be sure that wasn't the issue. Did try a forced upload of the data using the re-save mechanism. but doesn't make a difference.

 

Hopefully this can be resolved.

My profile still also does not want to be uploaded - I just finished DA Awakening and still nothing((no character on the site - I tried ti upload Screenshots to the site (just to check Sync)-in the game it shows uploaded, but not even 1 pict in the site(((

Thats because the site doesnt accept the data anymore.

And what to do now?((I wanna to play Inquisition with the world which I created from the 1st...I started to play 1st and 2nd part of games again because of it(((But now I can't sync?

Use the Dragon Age Keep.

 

No data is taken from the online profile.

Dragon Age Keep, 24 hours later, still doesn't have my personalized Warden character. Achievements appears to have synced up...

But it means Dragon Age Keep not using game saves, but how it's creates all Dragon Age history if not using save games? I have to edit all world step by step?

Yes. There is a button to randomise all the choices if you cant be bothered to re-create it. But everyone playing DA:I who used the keep had to manually set their ws
