I'm totally impressed with most of voice over in the game. However, there are two which stand out in my opinion. It is Claudia Black as Morrigan and Corrine Kempa as Leliana. It is flawless and as close to perfection as possible IMO.

 

Cullen is pretty good though for the most part except his personal quest as that I did not like at all, it was not very convincing.

 

I'm much less impressed with the inquisitor voice overs. They are a bit harder though as the dialogs are not always perfect and there are more of them. While Leliana's and Morrigan's dialogs are better written as well.

 

It'd be nice to know what other players think. I have not found any specific discussion of voice acting. There was some thread on it about half a year ago but it was about what was expected not what actually transpired.

I posted this in another thread a while back, but Morrigan and Leliana were my choice favorites, too.

 

Cass and Viv are worth a mention, too.

Cassandra is fine but a bit too strong of an accent. A tiny margin weaker and it would be way better. Vivienne is annoying but she is supposed to be annoying so I guess that counts as good although it is still annoying.

I think blackwall va did a great job and when he tells the truth in the cell was one of the bestscenes in the game for me.

The best one has to be Solas. OMG his voice acting is so totally awesome.

And Cullen.

And Cassandra. At first I found it too much and not convincing but over the course of her cutscenes the VA shows such a lot of variety and depth, it's awesome.

I also think Sera's VA is really good. Annoying etcetc but really good at what she's supposed to get across.

Oh wait, DORIAN. Dorian's VA is awesome.

All in all I think the VA for Bioware games have always been very, very good, but even so DA:I stands out as being extremely good.

 

Honorable mention to the two "voice of DA" winners (Flissa and the annoying noble forgothisname during Sera's quest).

I dunno, I think everyone in the cast did great  except for the pc vas, yes... . I personally liked Dorian, Cass and Morrigan vas but that's mainly cause I like the characters. But then again, it is a part of a charatcer so yeah. And I also like to listen to Cullen, Josie and Leliana talking. And there's also Solas (when he's not pissed at the pc that is). And Sera. And Cole. Heck, everyone is perfect.

I would have to put my favorites as Cole, Solas and Cassandra. Dorian's VA is also amazing.

 

Cole and Solas together are poetry. It's hard to imagine they didn't do their VO in the same room, the way it blends.

 

Got to give props to Alix Wilton Regan, as well. Normally I hate player VO but if you've got to have it, it should be like that.

I really like Coles. I adore Seras, probably because I'm British. I like Cassandras and Josies. Can't go wrong with Leliana, loved hers since DA:O. Morrigan as well. Basically all of them. They all did pretty damn good jobs.

They're all very good, but my personal favourites are Solas, Cole and Dorian.

 

Edit: For Inquisitor, my choice is always AWR, since I can play nothing but Lavellan, to me that's who she's become now.

BioWare are always top notch with their voice acting.

Not always the voice actor's fault.

 

That comes from my own experience, as when I did some amateur voice acting in the past, the script said "Nooooo!" - I swear, I did about four versions, and only the last one was good according to the guy I did the acting for. I have to say, the fourth was porn-grade acting.

Voice acting is good in this game overall (though I could do with less exaggeration in the Orlesian accents) and definitely plays a part in why Cassandra, Cole, Solas, Dorian and Varric are my favourite characters. Their actors really nail their lines and personalities -- I agree with Addai that Cole and Solas together are absolutely amazing.

Cole , Cassandra , Varric , blackwall , Vivienne , Leliana , Cullen , Blackwall , Solas , Morrigan ,,,,,what the heck they are all amazing , the only one i found kind of off at times is the Iron Bull even he isnt bad per se just not as good as the rest.

Dorian (and his dad) and Cass had lovely, expressive VAs. Sera's VA really captured her character well too - plus, I have a weakness for that accent.

Also, whoever voiced Ponchard. I don't know what it is, but I really like his cadence of speech. "If he relinquished it, how is that my doing?"

I'm still blown away by Dorian's VA. The emotion he manages to convey is just amazing. Really spot on. Cole's VA as well- such a great job getting every nuance of Cole's weird speech down pat.

 

Although as others have said, nearly all the voice acting in Inquisition is amazing.

They all did a pretty stellar job. It's kind of hard to pick a favorite. Cassandra, Sera and Dorian would be my top picks.

Cass, Dorian, Vivienne and British Male Inquisitor are all excellent imo. Not at the level of say, a Troy Baker or Nolan North, but they are very good.

Really?!  Oh man, I thought his actor KILLED that scene.  That was the part where I thought, "Hot damn, Cullen has one of the best VAs in the game"  

 

 

Otherwise, I also thought Cole's actor did an excellent job.  Especially during his personal quest, when he sees the templar for the first time.

Whoever voiced Command (I think it's the same person who voiced one of the trainers) did an excellent job. Very short appearance but quite memorable.

I think the animation hinders it a bit, the moment I closed my eyes I got completely into it, that scene is perfect.

Dorians VA nailed it. Coles VA killed it too. I also think Alexius's VA was pretty danm good. Although i didnt give a flying frack about Corys character his VA was nice to listen 2.

You've just summed up why exactly STEEEEEEVE is pointless to use in any argument when it comes to BioWare's voice actors
