My favorites were probably Morrigan, Cass, Solas, Dorian and Harding. I know she's not a companion, but her VA did great work.
I do like FPJ's work with Bull, but there were times the accent was lost/changed mid-conversation which was a tad weird, so he's not in the top but I did love the voice he gave that character, I found it quite fitting.
Dorian and Morrigan immediately come to mind.
I'd go with Solas, Cassandra, Dorian and Leliana. And also Regan, because that British tone is so good. I've never been so happy with PC VAs before, then this... it just fits the character so much and it's so amazing.
I don't know if it's just me, but they all have this tense, formal tone of voice they use in most conversations, but at emotional or "personal" scenes and situations, it kind of changes to a more mellow, softer tone that's a lot more friendly and open. I noticed this too in DA2 when the Arishok part came and Cassandra said how "romantic" it was, her voice just... changed. Same during her personal quest in DAI. And I romanced Solas and his tone of voice changes a bit too during the cutscenes, and he sounded a little less formal. I don't know, I kind of liked that bit. Or maybe it's just me. ;;
I can't believe I left Cassandras VA out of my post. I just told my son yesterday that I loved her voice acting!
Cullen - His VA has always been spot on.
Varrick - Perfect for his character
Sera - Most amusing in game
Solas - I love the way he says "why."
Cassabdra - Va so earnest, so really into it, I totally believed in her character.
It would be easier to pick the voices that didn't work for me - then again, maybe that would be hard too.
Flemeth is probably my favourite, I just really loved that VA work throughout DA. Especially with Claudia being so good as Morrigan and their scenes are just top notch.
As for the main cast of the followers and advisors, I think they are all very good - there are only a few lapses here and there but it's great overall. Same goes for the female PC voices (no idea about the men); both do a very good job with SO MUCH dialogue to speak, and I only noticed lapses here and there then too. And you can't expect a 100% flawless run in a game like this. ![]()
If I had to mention a top 3 followers, it would probably be Cassandra, Dorian, and Sera. Leliana claiming the advisor trophy. But honestly... it is an incredible effort VA-wise, this game.
The worst was some orlesian efforts - I think especially mother Giselle rubbed me the wrong way.
Not exactly bad, but a bit too much.
The whole cast did very good. My favorites would have to be Krem, Morrigan, Flemeth, Solas, Cassandra and Dorian.
Everyone in DA:I was either amazing or very strong. I feel like the DA:I cast, with the exception of the Inquisitor sadly, has the best voice acting cast out of any Bioware game.
Special shout outs to Dorian's overwhelming charm and charisma, and Cullen, who could go from sounding so cold and impersonal to so romantic and vulnerable. Both characters also had the most angst-filled personal cutscenes, and both were very well done IMO.
All of the cast was good, but voice acting has always been one of the strong points of Bioware games.
The stand outs for me were Indira Varma (Vivienne), Ramon Tikaram (Dorian), and Gareth David-Lloyd (Solas). Although she's my least favorite of the companion characters, Sera (voiced by Robyn Addison) also had very good voice work.
Great voices as always - ones that stand out for me
Stroud - love his voice, love his character, really wish he was in more ( he did Riordan so well too)
Vivienne - beautiful crisp voice
Solas - Gareth David-Lloyd has a wonderful hypnotic voice in this, I think it fits his character as well.
Morrigan - the lovely Claudia Black (how I miss Farscape)
Iron Bull - Don't know if its because its James or his dialog is done well
Brian Bloom - he has a great scratchy kind of voice. Since his character can't perform in battle, I hardly take him anywhere and really miss his banter.
Dorian- I am not sure if its his voice or the great writing or his dashing Errol Flynn character.
Abelas:This guy literally shows for 3 minutes, yet his voice acting is really well done.Especially if you compare his tone to that minor npc in the Dalish camp who shares his VA.
A shame I can't find who voices him.
I think the running theory is that it's Mark Bazely. And yes, he definitely deserves kudos and more than an "additional voices" credit for making Abelas so memorable.
Someone mentioned Flemeth and that's a resounding yes, too. That we got to see and hear her get emotional this time- something that could easily be overlooked but that is huge.
Also I realize that I kind of take Varric for granted because he's familiar but Brian Bloom does such a good job with him. Perfect every time.
They were all good, with one exception.
Blackwall, his dour monotone really detracts from the character. I don't think the writing for him is great either, but it's difficult to get past the voice.

None of the voice acting grated on my nerves, but those are the ones that stood out for me.
