Please make it happen, Dragon age or Mass Effect. I'm not even a borderlands fan and I love that Telltale games, which promoted me to get Borderlands games. Bioware has been trying to get a wider audience, this is how! I would prefer both ME and DA but if I had to choose one it would be the one that need more help, DA.

Anyone else think this is a great idea?

Bioware games don't need a game specifically story-orientated. The story, choices and interactions are good enough in their own games...

I'd love this, though I don't think it would ever happen.

Bioware already make story oriented games, so they probably wouldn't be willing to get someone else to make the same type of game.

I can't see how having Telltale make a Dragon Age game would add anything to the Dragon Age universe. I also can't see it bringing people to the existing games either since BioWare prides themselves on the story aspects of the game more then anything else and that is all Tellale does because the play so drastically different.

I typically enjoy Telltale stories far more than BioWare's, but it's not happening. Both companies pride themselves on narrative, and DA/ME are BioWare IPs-- for them, there's absolutely no reason to have Telltale make games based on these settings.

1) It won't affect the lore. Usually when Telltale makes a game within a universe it is more a side story. While you may meet central characters within the universe the story is usually something far off. It's not like I'm asking them to make DA 4 with Telltale.

2) It doesn't matter if both pride themselves on story because the story they could tell would be fundamentally different. When Bioware tells a story within their universe it is a story that advances their world. Whereas when they reach out to other companies for example that mini-game in DA Keep, the story they tell is exactly like the kind of story I would love to play without all that extra game-play dynamic.

The part about them not bringing people into other games is your opinion. I didn't even know what Borderlands was and didn't become familiar with Telltales until last year. Now I have 3 Borderlands games, why? After playing Tales from Borderlands I wanted to understand the lore behind the games and the decisions I was making. I know I'm late but I just started watching the Walking Dead...

Telltale already got a million games being made at the same time. I don't need to wait 2 billions year more for their next episode. Besides, why do Bioware even need TellTale to make a choice and consequence game for them??? Isn't that Bioware own job...

Wouldn't like that at all.  Telltale is all story without any gameplay and therefore no fun/replayabitlity.  I don't understand what people see in it.  Television is the medium of all story and no gameplay don't need that in games, whats the purpuse of gaming, gaming I think?

Please no. Tell Tale has this very annoying way of making people wait months for an hour and thirty second espoide. They say they are choice games. That the world around you changes depending on what you decide. It's more like an interactive movie. Nothing really actually changes. What I dislike how they make their fans wait months without a word to explain.

For example. Just last year. The fans got so upset and so heated. They decided not to Vent on Tell Tale official forum. They took to reddit to complain. After months of each day making a new thread. Making a new complaint. Got them no where. The new thread caught on like fire. Then just like that Tell Tale responded to them only because of amount of attention they got on reddit. Then they responded on their official forums. Surely you can find dev's who treat their fans a bit better.

There's the article on it.

I've played a few TT games. Telltale = reading a book. Combo with Bioware, not a good idea.
