The Great War ended 30 years ago. The Markarth Incident 27. The Civil War started a few months ago. Ulfric has no excuse, and it's time to call him out for what he is. **** at doing his job.

And we don't really know the actual timeline for the war.

He's a coward too. He ran, read the Thalmor dossier. He straight up ran because he broke under interrogation and thought the Empire lost because of him. It's only after he finds out that he didn't that the bluster comes in and he pulls that **** in Markarth.
He didn't run, he thought he escaped. And he lasted through torture long enough for his intel not to matter. You may not like Ulfric, but lets be real. He is not a coward. Insult his leadership skills, say you don't think he's qualified, but there's no argument for "coward".

201-27=174 the year the Incident happened.
And yeah we do, loading screens and Hadvar both say the war started a few months ago.
Looks like his biggest supporters don't know anything about him, hmm. I've been on the Stormcloak side of this debate. It's a nasty place where you ignore the people in the faction for the idea of the faction itself. It's kind of funny and a little sad.

When you have something better to say than stupid assumptions, call me.
Maybe read this to learn my actual opinions so you don't put the a.s.s. in assume.
ouch i almost felt that one, your petty insults are at least marginally more creative than standard internet folk, a shame it doesnt make you less of a cancerous individual

In game dialogue has said it's been half a year. Unless you think the game just pretends days don't go by.
And no, it's 26. The war ended 26 years ago, that's what I was talking about.
Get your **** together.

I think they would have mentioned their involvement if they were
I think if those discharged Legionaries were recalled it will be mentioned. I believe they still help the Redguards in the shadow, and since they are no longer a part of the Imperial Legion it's also safe to assume they no longer wear its uniform either. Even if they were recalled those discharged Legionaries still play their part in driving Lady Arannelya's forces back across Ali'kr. Hammerfell didn't fight alone, not from the start.

From the start, no, but when they were abandoned, hence the title.

The Great War can't end after the Markarth Incident that happens after the war. Hardly matters, the point is Ulfric has been Jarl for decades, and has done absolute ****.

The Great War can't end after the Markarth Incident that happens after the war. Are you serious right now?
Talk to the Dawnstar Jarl and his housecarl. Other various npcs also make it seem like the war's gone on for a while. Also:
4E 175 — The Great War ends with the White-Gold Concordat.

Dead serious. 26 plus 175 is 201. It's 4 E 201.

Contrary to popular belief, where do you think those discharged Legionaries go afterward if they weren't recalled? They are no longer part of the Imperial Legion, and they probably join forces with the Redguards resistance by now. It's why the writer used that title. Well, our argument run in circles, lol. ![]()

You can say the sky is red till your face turns the same, but you're gonna have to give me more than opinion for me to take in your bullshit.
Well, the sky is red if you use auriel's bow and allow the vampires to roam throughout the land.
