Really, if you argue that games like the witcher don't give a damn about females, you're not much different than those saying females can't enjoy football. Lol my mom knows more about football than me, btw. Much more.

 

Point is, what's wrong with having things from a masculine pov, even if it is a majority. That's the game developer's choice. And women can enjoy it all just fine, just like men. I don't call out romance novels for generally being from a female POV. I enjoy them just fine, more or less, without saying they don't give a damn about men, even when what they say about us a lot of the time isn't very flattering.

Not considering that women might possibly play their game, for one thing. There are so many signs it'd be difficult to list them all, but a really simple one is camera angles. When the camera lovingly caresses the perfect ass of all of the female characters but doesn't do the same for the male characters, that tells you something about who the game is for and, more importantly, who it isn't for. Hell, even Mass Effect did this.

 

And yes, non-straight women might appreciate such camera angles, but if the developers don't imagine that women might play their game, they certainly aren't thinking about that.

My estrogen levels are fine thank you. I don't find that sexy. Edit: The armor is sexy as is the body but I get to the face and just...

Oh, my... Deus Ex is such an awesome game, and the concept art for Jensen looked so cool, but that voice...   Takes away from the experience.

It's self explanatory really. Your comment was obviously a hyperbole and I get that, but even so, his forehead is proportional and doesn't come off as overly large. You have a different perception sure, but eyes aren't that different, lol.
