No, I got it, I just didn't care, lol. There's always something I dislike about the games. Generally, even though I love the series, I wouldn't give any of them a rating above 7.5 for various reasons.

Still missing the point, it was never about the idea that people are complaining about the game, if it was then you would have been just as hostile to people who where complaining about the Inquisitors fashion sense as those that where complaining about a characters physical appearance.

My view- Cassandra is unattractive, I hope love interests aren't that unattractive in the future.

 

Now people can disagree or even say they want the females to look like Lena Dunham but this is a game forum, I am not here to be attacked for this view or have people go on about how attractive women are bad because of whatever societal issue they decide to drag up.

If you don't like Cass, go for Josie. Don't like her, don't romance, simple as that. I stopped romancing people in DA 2 after the third run or so.

Why don't you just talk to her. I find it easier than forever dodging unwanted attentions because they will always find a way to corner you again sooner or later. Like " keep your boobs to yourself" or " the only boobs i want on my back is my wife's" kinda thing. Blunt but straight to the point.

I hope you have someone who can stand with you on this, because it's pretty unacceptable behaviour.  I had someone under me go through something similar, it was lucky we could clear it up pretty simply by telling the guy to back off or we'd take it further up the chain (he was in the same position I was but in a different project team).

Do you honestly think Iron Bull or Solas are the most attractive men in the world?

Well I fell in love with Solas as a character not by his looks. The reason why Solasmancers love him is because we learned to love all his mistakes. All those inperfections makes him actually attractive. None of us really found him attractive in the beginning or thought like '' Okay let's romance this guy because he is hot '' 
No we later on (like most of us everyone went to other romance options at first) but during the game started liking his cute adorable nerdism. His character. 

When you get to know who he is it was not a reason for me to be with him BUT after I know that everything he did made actually sense I started liking him even more. EVEN THOUGH HE DUMPS YOU!!!!!

So no just seriously if you play game and pick the characters by just how they looks just... I find it very hard for you to actually enjoy the game if you cannot ever get more deeper than the looks.  

Also... if you really think Cullen looks attractive. I personally do not find him looking attractive at all. He is just like regular man to me. So no I actually didn't find anyone attractive before I got to know their characters and personalities. Backgrounds and stories.

Well it's a sensitive topic, and people live in different places, and obviously certain things don't apply to everyone everywhere. I personally live in a place that can get pretty hot and humid, and I obviously get that some women, or a lot actually, feel the need or desire to dress coolly.

 

But when I can tell you the color of your g string, and tell others about that cute little heart shaped birthmark you've got close to your inappropriate bits, that is indeed a problem, and you won't get attention just from men, but women as well. Oh yes, I've seen women calling their fellow girls out, calling them sluts and so on, whether it's from jealousy or what, I don't know, but it happens.

 

All I'm saying is some common sense is involved. Even if one doesn't wear such revealing clothing for attention, they should be aware of the fact that they'll draw it anyway. Is that fair? Is that the way it should be? No but that's the way the world is.

 

And as for women who get attention when they're not even doing that, yes it is unfortunate that it happens. But I'm not talking about skeezy ******* fratboys when I say women need to learn to take a compliment. There are cases when a guy can just say nice skirt, or I like your shirt, and because its revealing, they make it waaaay more than what it is.

 

TL;DR I'm aware that there are men who are assholes, but we're not the only ones.

The thing is, your view on what's attractive or not doesn't matter in the slightest, seeing as attraction is subject to your own preferences.

Characters personality contributes alot as well, like for example I'm more attracted Zevran's personality and way he carries himself than his looks. I think with Garrus it's same, he has quite alien-look that might be hard to be attracted to (unlike more humanoid looking Liara and Thane).

Yeah, Garrus and Thane (and Liara to a lesser degree) pretty much proves that looks aren't everything. 

 

I mean, Garrus is a space dinosaur and I love him to bits. Best romance in a Bioware game if you ask me. And it's all because of his personality and his amazing voice.

Well I like Thane more than Garrus but I find Thane's look attractive despite their alienousness so I didn't mention him

 

I don't really like Alistair that much and wasn't intrested in his romance. He's somewhat attractive look- and personality-wise but in other hand not... Overall I think his romance is too romantic and sweet for me and I can't really get along with him either with my characters so it's no go ^^ Romance-wise I think he and Cullen are similar which isn't attractive for me but I like Cullen more as character.

The thing about "straight females get 3" is that they kinda don't. Solas is only available for an elf, Cullen only for a human or elf, and then there's Blackwall. So the only romance exclusively available for heterosexual females of any race is a 45 year old dude who looks like a perambulating haystack (seriously, dude, familiarize yourself with the concept of a razor and scissors) who also happens to be a child murderer. Yay!

But you don't see as many women complaining. I wonder why that is. Is it because men are used to being catered to in video games and women aren't? I really don't know, but it's interesting.

Straight women always have shady romance choices, if its not "making your boyfriend sleep with another women to survive" its "your man dies, cheats & knocks another women up or turns into a psycho terrorist" not surprising some people are tired of the forced tragedy & drama
