Wonderful Life was my very first game of the series. Karen is pretty awesome even if she is kind of a drunk (maybe not a drunk but you know what I mean)

 Well, with all the wine u had to give her, she probably is. 

Harvest Moon used to be my favorite game, though I started with the N64.  I believe I constantly married Karen, because troubled but cute was totally my thing, but I had a crush on Gray.  Planting the flowers for Popuri and his awkward crush thing was just so sweet.
 
Rune Factory, I need to get 4... haven't touched the others due to no playing gals, for the most part.
 
 
As for Fire Emblem, I've been playing them forever, it feels like.  Fire Emblem New Mystery of the Emblem (a remake of the second Marth game) had a creatable protagonist, and came out in 2010 (never made it to English shores, but there's a fan translation), and Fire Emblem the Blazing Sword (2003) had a creatable protagonist (though they did really absolutely nothing).  Awakening's 'Robin' was the only one who really had a personality.
 
However!  Fire Emblem If/The Latest... if you watch the trailer and keep close watch of the names, 'Kamui' is seen as both male and female with different hairstyles.  So it's likely we'll have a creatable avatar once again, and looking at the dialog, it looks like we'll be playing one of the Lord's instead of the token adviser this time.  Ooo, shiny...
 
 
Oh, right, blah blah blah, limited romance.  Eh.  It all depends on what you like.  Personally, of the companions, Dorian and Cassandra are the ones that I adore the most... so for me, the guys got lucky this time.  But what do I know, I've romanced Anders multiple times, which may mean I'm crazy.

Hmm the only one I can think of of Save the Homeland I haven't gotten all the endings and probably wont but I don't recall any marriage in that game for your character at least. Though I'm sure theres one I'm unaware of

As far as I remember you just get to tell someone depending on the ending that you love them but no marriage according that I've seen.

I never actually played that one, but I looked at videos on Youtube.

I've played it a few times though it is one you need to know what you're doing going in other wise you'll lose.

That damn runey system though annoys me so much though I hate it so much if it wasn't for that I could enjoy the game.

I really never got a fully understanding of the runey, but its has been a while since I played!

You got one year to prevent the town from being turned into an amusement park its actually fairly hard if you don't know what to do.

The runeys ruined my game experince all together tbh cause I have enough **** to worry about without some silly runeys getting in my way

Well, I've already pre-determined my failure for that game. I love goofing around in Harvest Moon/ Rune Factory games, and I usually end up married before the first year is over with. Talk about moving really fast.

 

Just like Harvest Moon DS/Cute where you have to collect 80 notes before you can get married. You're making me miss Frontier  !

I had to look it up to see which endings are easy cause some you can only get after beating the game a few times no time to mess around in that one

 

I'd mail my copy to you if I knew where it is I don't think I'll pick it up again unless I can find a way to ignore the runeys maybe I should get the original version and not have to worrry about them dying out.

I really just need a Wii controller! But, I'm more into the other versions now. RFF was my first Rune Factory game, but now I like RF2. I really want to play Rune Factory 4 and A New Beginning, because I've heard you can custom your character on a New Beginning.

The point stands: EA does not fire writers for failing to include gay or lesbian romances. They never have before, and it is therefore not obvious common sense to assume that they would now. Whether you feel that BioWare's other RPG games are different or not doesn't change that you are, indeed, speculating.

We are just to far apart on this one. You're probably right, and yes it's speculation, but isn't everything?

T.T A Harvest Moon game with different endings is wonderful. Well now that I think about it, all Harvest Moon games has different endings, since you can choose who you want to marry. 

 

I think they're both on 3DS, which is why I want to get that system! You can choose to play as a boy or girl at the beginning on both games.

Yes you do! So do I. I miss my Harvest Moon/Rune Factory days. I use an emulator to play most of these games, now. T.T

I'm just mad that there isn't one for the xbox, but Oceans was available for the Play Station 3. I can barely find people who are into Harvest Moon/ Rune Factory. No one ever knows about those games, so I tell them that they can't sit with me, but in reality, I sit by MYSELF!!!

If its any condolences I've met like one person in my life that played Harvest Moon but they didnt' know Rune Factory and thought they were too cool for me since I don't go for the goddess

Seriously though I like all romance types, allows me to role play.

But if I were ever to say it would have been nice for one more straight romance* cough scout Harding cough*, I would be swarmed and consumed by angry BSNers.
