Who needs quantity when you have quality?
Sadly, I never felt like there was much quality either.
But yes, Quality over quantity.
Unless I'm playing as my male dwarf, then quantity every time.

If its any condolences I've met like one person in my life that played Harvest Moon but they didnt' know Rune Factory and thought they were too cool for me since I don't go for the goddess
Lol I feel better! My brother told me I need some friends when I got him into both series. The Goddess was probably the hardest to marry. I'm still confused on how she actually had the baby, and was never in the child life, except on special occasion.

She's much easier to woo in Animal parade no perfectionist requirements or anything just the same ones you have for the other possible spouses. Though she still is not around to help you with the baby.

Ugh, talking about the awkward family reunions and parent-teacher conference. Poor Harvest Goddess/God kid.

You don't get a public wedding either so as far as the other town folks know you just got a baby dumped on you by an ex ![]()

Tons of them I'm sure, makes me wonder what they say about someone with the Harvest King cause its the same type of deal. Gonna break all the hearts that way. (I like to raise the affection of everyone available so when I choose I have less work to do.) ![]()

Oh geez, what's the game where you can marry the Kappa? It's one of the gal only Harvest Moon's, I think?
The town doctor doesn't even tell you 'Congrats!' when you have the baby; they're just sort of like '...Here's your kid', unlike how they are with other romantic partner. I feel like the town is all 'YOU SINGLE PARENT, I SHUN YOU'. It's sort of mean. Talk about awkward, too; your protagonist herself even wonders 'Why did he marry me?' Owch, gal. Owch.

I believe thats Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral town so yes a girl only one. Though I haven't married Kappa myself way to many things you need to do in order to do that. I would have taken it as the others 'heres your healthy normal baby' and with the kappa baby 'heres you abomination' but only because its Kappa. The protagonist actually says that? Wow ![]()

I have a proposition for BW, don't do romances for straigh pcs at all, so "straight male audience" won't buy the game at all and thus won't complain.
This is kind of hypocritical seeing as how Bioware put in all the LGBT romances in the first place after the LGBT crowd complained there weren't enough romances for THEM.
Jade Empire worked fine. So did DA 2. And KOTOR. And Dragon Age Origins. Only RECENTLY was there a singular focus put on legitimate gay romances.

Nope it's that straight male guilt.
That's what you're supposed to be feeling.
All the time, for forever.

Can anyone else even see the Harvest King?
I usually only go after the person I'm going to marry (Luna
). I feel like I'm leading the others on when I try to please them all.
Noooooooooo, not Kappa. Haha. Like what was going on in that meeting room when they decided that a fish was going to be one of the bachelor!!?

I'm not sure I don't think so I think its the kind of rules that apply to the Harvest Goddess and Harvest Sprites only you can see them. So I'm sure rumors are flying around why I"m taking my child up a dangerous mountain almost ever day.
I can't ever choose that far in advance plus I like getting the new dialog for them and cut scenes.
I'm guessing smoking or taking drugs since they also made the Gourmet a bachelor and you don't really talk to him aside from the cooking festivals as far as I know anyway.

I'm surprise that they don't have an event for something like that. I heard that there are lots of children events for Rune Factory 4. Maybe an event with Harvest King/Goddess could have had something special with their kid.
I always usually do my research about the character, and seems to pick the nerdiest, loner looking one. But Luna is the opposite of that. I think she could be classified as the bratty type.
Whoa! I'm about to look up his wedding scene now. I always wondered why they haven't included Gourmet as a bachelor, since he's almost in all of the games.

I think they get the same scenes you would with any other person you marry in the game just the wedding scene is different. Though I'd love to know how the baby being born with the Harvest Goddess is suppose to work I haven't had kids with her yet.
Luna is pretty bratty but still adorable, I think I like them all so I just can't pick ![]()
Him, Kappa, and I forget this name I think its Wong (the merchant guy) are all secret bachelors in Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral town.

We always have youtube! I'm about to watch a hour long Rune Factory 4 with the bachelor Kiel. He seems pretty cool, and If I do play the game, I would want my lady protagonist to marry him.
Luna's sister is the one I went with at first, but since I was trying to count her, I usually always end up talking to the family, which I fell hard for Luna at that point.
The secret bachelors usually always require more attention and work to win them over.

Oddly enough the thought of youtubing that never crossed my mind
I guess I rather just check it out for myself and be surprised though most cut scenes in
Harvest Moon play out kind of samey. I think for Rune Factory I'll just look up who is available and thats about it.
Yeah though from what I read the merchant dosn't actually get heart events he has his own cut scenes that aren't heart events but you have to get them anyway in order to marry him (one including him drooling over Karen) and you have to spend so much at his store. Not sure what you have to do to be able to marry the Gourmet though.

There are so many bachelor and bachelorettes to witness, though. I can always only see two of their cut scenes, with me marrying one and my brother's marriage.
I sometimes lurk their forums to see which one is the popular one, and it's usually always the person that the "farmer" first meet.
Lol this merchant sounds like a total tool. I wouldn't want to marry him, even if I like going after the special "people."

Makes sense I'm just stubborn and would say 'eh I'll eventually marry them all so I'll wait' but I never end up doing that ![]()
I don't think I've ever gone on one of those before but any gift guides I've seen always seem to recommend the first person you meet to marry or whoever has the easiest gift that they like.
Ah found the requirements for him, you need to buy a vase, unlock the ability to sell things to him, unlock the Apple Game, and get his Mixed Up Apples Event. So I was kind of off on that on the requirements for Won I probably still wouldn't marry him since he charges ridiculous prices from what I can remember. And for the Gourmet you have to cook everything at least once and win the cooking contest in five different categories.

At least you can witness all of their heart's events. Once I get married to a certain person, I tend to start role playing. Take one day at a time, which I can't say the same before marriage. Gift to girl, farm, talk to girl's family, and sleep. ![]()
They always try to play the first person you meet as the perfect bachelor/bachelorette, which also turns out to be the hardest to marry. Must complete the game to marry Mist on RFF.
See that's way too much to a person's heart. I know Kappa is the hardest to marry, and isn't even worth it since he lives in the water.
PS: I just started a new game on RF2!! ![]()
