Reasons:

- She's short. Are you short? If not, you are in no position to judge the awesomeness of being short.

- She blows sh*t up. Do you blow sh*t up? If not, then you are in no position to judge the awesomeness of blowing sh*t up.

- She once tried to eat tree bark. Did you once try to eat tree bark? If not, then you are... you get the idea.

- She's nuts. Are you nuts? Wait, this is BSN... don't answer that.

Purpose of thread is the following question: :P

What happens with the second rank of Elemental mines?

Does it completely empty your stamina? It seems so from the description, which could be a bit of a dubious side effect. How many extra mines do you get? I assume a lot, if the stamina penalty is really high.

If there is a stamina penalty, what happens when you use Flask of Fire, since it removes the stamina cost of abilities? Does Elemental Mines lose its bonus when combined with it, because of the lack of stamina cost?

Yes elemental mines appear to deplete all your stamina, not sure if elemental mines loses its bonus if you combine it with flask of fire

If you use fire flask you can spam full volleys of elemental mines... about 4-5-6 times...

When you are done you are completely out of mana I mean stamina, so I will suggest that you time it and spend your last "no stamina cost" spell on stealth. If needed.

I posted a build on this about a month back.

Here is the video

If you spend all your stamina you end up with 0 stamina. Fire flask lets you cast without stamina cost. You throw the next with 0 stamina while affected by Fire Flask.

Cool.

I took Flank Attack with the bonus. It seems to do a pretty good job of keeping me in Stealth with its cooldown, especially when combined with the passive that restores stamina after killing something (which I intend to take as I level her up.)

My theory is, I'll be in stealth, and restoring Stamina almost constantly, but I wanted to make sure I understood what happens with Flask of Fire/Elemental Mines before investing.

neh.. I think Shadow strike has more value, especially since you'll take the i was never there passive - you dont need to use flank attack to stay in stealth all the time.

A waste I would say.

I'd rather not waste a point on a power that I'm not going to use, just to get a passive that is kinda broken. Isn't Shadow Strike the one that doesn't work with I Was Never There?

Besides, the tracking on Shadow Strike drives me nuts, and I'd just spend huge amounts of time frustrated, if I took it.

Just checking if I can make it show up.

Edit: Ah, the website that it's linked from is offline, at the moment, that's why it isn't showing up.

Are you upset that armor isn't working for some reason? I seem to have that impression, but don't know why....

Are people actually getting Shadow Strike to work with I Was Never Here?  Seems like it always just applies the short CD reduction for me.

HAH! The only time you destroyed a fish tank is when you feel thru one. A shame really. I liked that restaurant.

It usually works fine for me with reseting the cooldown on stealth the majority of the time... It will however definitely bug from time to time and not reset the cool-down. It seems like the "it never works" myth has been propagated on the forums here... Or perhaps the issue is more severe on other platforms... I'm on ps4 and I always use shadow strike in my alchemist builds (12th promotion now) and it works fine for me despite the occasional failure to reset stealth.

Even if it doesnt work, it's better than Flank attack. Its a knock down and as far as I know does more damage. I dont personally think it works as intended atm, but you dont really need another stealth skill when you have the I was never here passive.... Atleast I dont think so.

I just discovered a teensy problem... maybe.

The phrase "All of your abilities have no cooldown" in Fire Flask doesn't seem to be accurate.

It seems that only abilites that are not currently in cooldown receive the bonus, while abilities that have recently been activated do not. Anyone know whether this is a bug, or whether the description is wrong?

I've noticed this, too but it does makes sense, considering the wording. It doesn't say anything about resetting your cooldowns, just that your abilities will have no cooldown when you pop the flask.

But it's inconvenient for me AND THAT MAKES IT WRONG!  :crying:
