Is this Skyrim talk a veiled criticism of DA:I trying to to be Skyrim thing I know quite popular nowadays in BSN? :P

Nah I actually didn't think that theyre similar at all. More than the pine trees, snow etc. Also wolves and bears I guess.

Nah , just fun to talk about other fantastic games. I'm not comparing them at all. They're both quite different other then being Fantasy games.

I don't remember that caveat, but I WAS playing a mage romancing Cullen. Any other Cullenmancers able to confirm if the line appears? Because otherwise, maybe he is who they mean.

I'm sorry, I might be able to help you but I sort of lost track of what you are talking about. Edit and quote, please?

I can't imagine Josephine is too much of an innocent. She and Leliana went to that party where they pinned small clothes to the chantry board if I remember correctly.

Sheryl Chee said that was just a joke reference to a side quest in the Leliana's Song DLC where Leliana does the same thing by stealing smallclothes off someone. Chances are those two went to the real party Leliana refers to, found someone who was passed out, took their smallclothes and pinned it to a Chanter's Board.

Awww do we not like Sera?   Yea those opinionated, strong willed, uppity,  sexually secure women sure are a pain in the arse. What was BW thinking having such a character in the game?

Eesh. Sera can be strong all she wants. I personally don't like her all that much because she's a little narrow minded. The whole "no mages" and "lalalala the well of sorrows was all FAKE! You can't tell me otherwise!" is a bit much for me. That being said, I appreciate the fact that Bioware has included a character I can at least grudgingly respect, even if I disagree with half of what she does. But I wouldn't necessarily assume anyone who dislikes Sera is anti-strong women. Sera is just very...opinionated. In a different way from someone, such as, say Aveline. Who is just so chill.

Well if you talk to Josephine , she says her and Leliana haven't ever done anything , she is a Sister to her. just putting it out there.

...the... the OP. Imshael. If you ask him for virgins he says he can never find any but adds "well, one, but I doubt you want him'.

OP suggested it may be because Cole was in the party, but others say the active party is irrelevant. I wondered if it might have been referring to Cullen, and that I didn't remember the line because I never heard it: my Inqi romanced him.

Oh that's such a shame! I really thought it was a more intimate kind of party... Oh well, I think I'm going to stick to my version of events anyway :D

Let me guess; Someone stole your sweetroll? ;)

To put another puzzle out about the OP (and because Emprise du Lion gives me the heebie-jeebies so I smack the red templars around and get out so this quest is still on my to-do list.. xD ), is it possible to not get the line about the virgins? Because if it's related to Cammen...poor, poor Cammen. Not even the 'choice spirit' thinks much of him, possibly.

Wut? Why?

Like a virgin

Touched for the very first time

Like a vir-ir-ir-ir-gin

When your heart beats

Next to mine

As a child of the eighties, I have the exact same problem.

LOL, I think Imshael's answer to the request for virgins is a nice half-joking comment on Thedosians not being so f*cked-up in their attitude towards sex as the real world. What I'd like to know is how they prevent unwanted pregnancies, because that's pretty much a prerequisite for taking things more lightly.

Wynne's dialogue with Alistair about her son vaguely hints at some kind of contraception existing. I think that the sizes of the families we see mean that there has to be some kind of widely available birth control. (There could also be massive infant and child mortality, but we've seen zero evidence of that so far.) Herbal? Magical? Who knows?

Unless everyone is just not having much PIV sex? There's no evidence that other types are stigmatised the way they were in Medieval Europe. And the withdrawal method is surprisingly effective at delaying pregnancy and limiting family size on a population-wide level. (There are some really interesting demographic studies of 18th century France.)

@Andraste_Reborn:

Interesting possibilities. I have some more general ideas about this and related things I might post later somewhere else. I don't think this thread is the place for an in-depth discussion.

Yeah, I think somewhere in all of those parties she must have done something. Surely...

Pretty much how I feel about Sera. And she IS narrow minded, just like Solas, but Solas is more quiet about it. At least she's honest. You have to give her that. No duplicity there. She's loyal, but she has no filter and no tact whatsoever. I'm sure one of my Quizzies will romance her in the future, but Krem is more my type in personality than Sera is. Wish we could romance Krem.

To be honest when I entered on this thread I was suspecting nice long list of who does OP thinks that is virgin.

On these boards? That'll be a long list indeed =P

The line was there even when I was romancing Cullen: I would definitely think it's either a random thing, generic on purpose, or... a random thing generic on purpose. :-p

It isn't. I hooked Cammen up with Ghena in all of my playthroughs (I'm a poor man's romantic at heart) and still ended up with the line.

I imagine they have some herbal version of an abortion. If of course, such a thing exists.

Of course, it could all be magic.

It does in the real world. I don't see why it couldn't exist in a fictional one.

Oh, I wasn't implying they had done anything together. Just that she's likely been to some risqué parties and who knows? Maybe indulged a little. :)
