I took that with the way he behaved in DA2 regarding the ladies at the Pearl and yeah it pretty much screams virgin to me. It's not like being a templar is that conductive to being laid anyway considering they're stuck in the tower and to sleep with anyone in there is insubordination at best. And the chances of him rolling around in the hay at 13 are pretty low.

I mean I guess you can see him as having fooled around in his younger templar days.

Yeah I don't see him with someone from an establishment like the Blooming Rose, even though his men were known to visit there. If Cullen is not a virgin, then I think it would have to have been once or twice in his life; perhaps with a lady templar.
He does, after all, say "there is nothing wrong with a bit of fun" with a smirk after catching Iron Bull and the Inquisitor together. ;)
I certainly don't think it's something he experienced on the regular, though.

Yep.

Very true. Also Bull's utter shamelessness makes me <3

Yeah he's our shy awkward turtle in love =3

I laughed when I saw that option, as both a female player and playing a femquisitor. All I could think was, "Why would I want a virgin?"

Because he'll always think you are the best as he doesn't know any better?

Josephine. She's way too innocent.

I'd assume that Cullen is since he was a devout servant to the Chantry. Alistair pretty much explains that non-chaste templars and pre-marital sex are no-nos.

Oh, and Frederic. I just can't picture him getting laid. XD

Thinks of Viv...

Maybe he was refering to himself? It isn't entirely clear whether or not demons/spirits ever have sex either with humanoids or with other demons/spirits. So he could feasibly be the very virgin he knows that you wouldn't want.

can you really bang a desire...daimon??

You can in the book Aristoi. On a side note I thought the book was pretty good and very progressive, especially for the time when it was written.

In DA:O you can bang a desire DEMON.

It most definitely is not Josephine. Just how exactly do you think she managed to get out of the Circle? Her personal quest involves her feeding poison to her lover of many years.

Huh. Didn't do that quest.

You mean Vivienne right?

Do you mean Vivienne? And did you really do the quest? 'Cause it's not like that. At all.

Cullen lusted after the warden mage female.

Cullen had "Special time" with Meridith in Kirkwall or so I am led to believe by fan-fictions.

Cassandra has had one lover prior. Iron Bull collects Cherries. Dorien started the game as a tight end but was a wide receiver before they played Wicked Grace. Varric itches after Bianca, so maybe, Sera is a virgin in the biblical sense but then there are toys, and pies pies are great.

Wait I know. Its Khem.

It's about a potion to cure him, and you can have a very touching conversation about her relationship with him, in the aftermath.
Of course it goes differently if *you* didn't even bother to check if you took the correct heart, and you give her the wrong one. Or if you do it on purpose, which can also be the case.

When was it implied she was poisoning him? She was trying to help him and seems to actually care about him. She might milk the fact the family is grateful to her for trying to save his life.for all it's worth but I don't think there is a nefarious plot here.

If she was actually poisoning him I'm sure there are much easier ways to do so than hunting down rare and dangerous Wyverns.

Wynne's dialogue with Alistair about her son vaguely hints at some kind of contraception existing. I think that the sizes of the families we see mean that there has to be some kind of widely available birth control. (There could also be massive infant and child mortality, but we've seen zero evidence of that so far.) Herbal? Magical? Who knows?

Just cause nobody talks about it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. When's the last time you knew someone who lost a child that talked about it? Plus, in an age like that, it probably would've been so common that no one talked about it anyway. That's like discussing breathing. No one talks about that because it just happens. What a boring convo? Plus, again, who would even want to discuss dead babies like that?
I vaguely remember someone in I think origins talking about having lost a child (not Wynne, someone else) and they were seemingly blasé about it, implying it was somewhat common. Idr though, been awhile since I played that game in depth.

I'm curious if anyone has chosen either of the other two options? What were they, power and money? What happens if you choose one of those two?

Didn't stop anyone in those towers. You know how many times I passed someone, or talked with someone, and a Templar/mage relation would be brought up or implied? It was just all DL.

That doesnt negate Cullen's virginity since he hated all mages in DA2, no ifs ands or buts. I'm sure in such a mindset, sex with mages would be done via rape on his part. And since I very much doubt Cullenwwould stoop that low, regardless of how he feels about mages, that puts that out. Besides, how effective would a virgin be at that anyway...?

From this thread I kinda get the impression that I'm the only one who would actually have pursued a potential Cole romance. It would be weird, sure, but cute weird.. Sorta.. He is definitely one of my favorite characters.

I absolutely believe Vivienne poisoned her "lover" because she knew she could later use his relations to meet Inky in an attempt to propel her to the Sunburst Throne.  She, of course, played the part of the (briefly) bereaved lover quite well for Inky.  She is, after all, a master of the game.  Comments by the demon in the fade make it clear, at least in my opinion, that the wyvern heart of snow white used to slow aging is clearly meant for her.

Ooh, I missed the demon comments in the fade.  I also think she poisoned him - that or she's the worst alchemist ever.
