What's the highest armor rating for a helmet that can be made. I can make a 37 (Dragon bone), but have a 43 unique. But it kind of stands out, and I'm a DW Rouge Assassin. It's like, "I'm wearing a bright shiny helmet, but YOU don't see me!" ;p

It appears that the highest armor rating we can craft is 37. There are multiple helmets and hats that all allow 4 metals to be used in the armor slot and using Dragon Bone results in a 37. There are no masterwork slots or rune slots for headgear, so no way that I can see to improve it past there.
The unique Duke's Mane has an armor rating of 46 and appears to be the highest in the game for headgear.
Edit: As to the helmet standing out ... there is an option to hide helmets in the game ... which I do because I'd rather not see some of the headgear in the game.

OK thanx, I thought that was the highest. And the Duke's Mane is the helmet that I have on. Sorry about the wrong rating. I want to see the head gear, it makes it more real to me, and it makes peeps unique/different. I just wish I could change the side color of the superior skimisher's hat, it's always white.
