Running around Emerald Graves for bears is a pain, so I park my team on the ice river in Emprise, past the Elven Ruin bridge opposite the island and wait. Usually I turn the sound up and find some nearby distraction, if my team kills them there is no drop
I am unsure why the pop. I run about touching everything, picking rocks nearby, and trying to set off invisible triggers. Usually it seems just time passed and the first one arrives like 10 minutes later. Right after that are two or three more. I love this place to fight, it's open and scenic, though the wait is a little dull.
I get rare herbs there at low level, but the bear fights then are way hard
you might have to walk on the island to get the forth bear
