I've barely used the Avenger myself, it was so unnecessary to grind it in order to complete the Assault Rifle Mastery because so many other weapons were better, but still, I had some friends who used the Avenger on Gold from time to time. On the TGI obviously. Using the Avenger on anything but the TGI or perhaps the GI sounds like masochism.
This has nothing to do with DAMP, but you know, I guess we all have sweet memories from ME3MP.
I guess one-handed swords and mauls are all that's left
