Hey there,

imho cloaks in NWN2 looks absolutely terrible and out of place. Especially the long ones make you look like Superman while running. Is there a simple mod that either makes cloaks invisible by default or adds an option to hide them? Possibly helmets too?

Sorry to bother you guys, but google didn't give me a satisfying solution.

I don't know of a mod that does that, in theory you could override all the models with empty ones but that would take a lot of time. If you want a quick solution something like this:

http://neverwinterva...earance-changer

Can be installed to the OC and lets you choose from a bunch of preset item appearances.

With that appearance changer, you can change the cloaks to invisible, and change helmets to headbands.

Ok, thx. A special mod would be nice but I guess this works. Making cloaks invisible is the most important part anyway.

Btw.: Is this http://forum.bioware...erver-browser/ strictly for modders or people who play on persistent worlds or does it also improve game performance in general in single player mode?

It helps in general, though some of the things it does are specific to multiplayer.

Technically speaking there are no actual cloaks in the game, only capes. Cloaks wrap entirely around the body and often have hoods attached, making them useful for protecting travellers from the elements. Capes on the other hand are purely decorative, being popular mainly with super heroes, vampires, and 19th century upper-class gentlemen at formal events. No true adventurer would be caught dead wearing a cape.

You forgot to include magicians in your list of Cape owners.

Fun Fact: All magicians are vampires.
