English is not my first language, if anyone can tell me how I can word it better, I would be thankfull. The OP title doesn't do your topic justice.
Why there is a discrepancy in the numbers between the LI for het males?

That was a compliment. With context it makes sense of course.

Ah, fair point, I guess it just flew over my head, as I wasn't really invested into the whole thing, watching it on youtube. Maybe my view is bit skewed because of that.
The other thing is you're using a rapier, which is outside your usual expertise. As a mage you're not melting his face which even as a KE is a pretty big departure, and as a warrior or rogue you're a bit out of your depth. So it is dangerous regardless of your being a badass.

Even among straight males, they would opt for Dorian instead of Josephine.
http://www.gamefaqs....sition/70835114
I'm surprised at how popular Dorian is, especially consider that straight males would romance him over other girl like Josephine. He ranked second, very close to Cassandra. Iron Bull overtakes her, too. I'm not sure, but Josephine's romance is very sweet and drama-free, maybe she also suffers from not being a companion. That's very surprising considered how homophobic gamefaqs comments usually are.
Josie is the kind of person who'd make a great partner IRL. Someone caring, thoughtful, not inclined to resolve all of her problems through violence and murder ... but she doesn't have any drama. Her stability I think makes her less alluring than some of the alternatives.

I take you did not talk to her right before taking off in the arbor wilds.....do so, pick the innuendo option then we can re evaluate this ok?So...no boobies = juvenile? Really?
Maybe she's the type that believes in marriage before sex. Is that a bad thing? No.
I'm all for free sexual expression. I love Iron bull and him being sexually liberated as much as I respect Josie for not wanting to sleep with everyone. No reason to call the romance juvenile however.
The romance is juvenile because there is no friction, none, not even playful or good natured. There is no tension, no desire even tho emotionally it was quite charming
Also my inquisitior is male so ....no boob grabbing there

I have to disagree. I've never found him particularly attractive as a LI, but he's a very interesting person who's shown more growth than most characters. He's gone from sympathetic to mages, to wanting to slaughter them, to wanting to be just--even though it scares the hell our of him--to being able to look back and question his own actions and responses. Through it all, he's always trying to do the right thing and protect people, even when he's wrong. He's an excellent character.
Agreed. I was a vocal Cullen critic before this game, but it all payed off this time. They did a great job with him.

I'm with you if that means bisexual Viv.
Of course Vivienne would be bisexual. She seems to care about how much power you have than what gender you are. ![]()

Bisexual Vivienne (no race gate) would have been a dream come true. My lady Cadash would have been all over Vivienne from the moment she thawed out that noble with a snap of her fingers. That woman is a goddess.

Josephine was the Kelly Chambers/Meghan Traynor of this game. Likable, to be sure, but it never felt legitimate.

The patron goddess of being a terrible person, perhaps.

I think you mean Samantha, not Meghan. Unless Samantha has a sister we don't know about.

Seriously given how much of a non character Bastien ended up being and how Vivienne is Ice Queen to the end I have to sadly say a romance might've solved that >_>
Not sure why we couldn't have a nice well developed friendship with her instead of her being Ice Queen 24/7 just about.

uh? She was insanely nice to my inquisitor....thankful for his help and support....hell she was nice even to DORIAN when it mattered most. Hell she put off the goddamn sunburst throne to help the inquisitor for a while longer.XD

the heart of snow white seems to differ. She, an insanely accomplished knight enchantress not to mention perfectionist, trusts the inquisitor with potential ly the life of her paramour. Remember the Dorian/inquisitor incident with herShe's not an Ice Queen like "totally beyotch" but she keeps herself guarded and never opens up or trusts anyone really, is what I mean by it, at least. Makes me sad.
Now that I think about this....she is like a young Wynne....according to her OWN recollections.

They don't really introduce Josephine. At all. And because she isn't a companion, I don't care enough to know her. I feel like I could go the entire game without getting beyond the surface level with her, which is why I put off her romance until like the 6th playthrough. Why am I not attracted to her? She bores me and her dress is ugly to be frank.
I've done her romance, and it's really sweet, but it's almost childish in an Aladdin sort of way. You duel over her? Really? REAAAAAALLLLY?
Also idgaf about there being less LI's for het males than for het females. It's how the dice landed.

You don't have to be a jerk to be an ice queen. Ice Queen just means distant and aloof and she's very much that.

A few moments of softness do not a non ice queen make.
And no she doesn't strike me as a young Wynne at all. Wynne doesn't have her cutthroat policies or her social climbing attitude.

I am not arguing that I read her as a person who doesn t have those qualities, just that she wasn't allowed to express them as much as I would have liked!
