no but she was a harsh task mistress who wanted nothing but perfection.
That doesn't make her like Vivienne though. That just means she was harsher when she was younger. (Also Vivienne is not young).

She is not wynne's level of old
Vivienne is very protective of her friends...so us wynne...but wynne is tempered by age, Viv is not yet so.
She's pretty up there actually if Nightmare is any indication. She just uses magic to make herself look young.
So yeah...if Vivi's not tempered by her age yet it's not happening.
uh? Obviously nightmare would say that her fear is to be inconsequentialShe's pretty up there actually if Nightmare is any indication. She just uses magic to make herself look young.

At the risk of derailing a bit: I've seen these references to her age before, but I haven't seen any content to support it. When does this happen and is there a video that shows it? I'll search around if you can give me a good starting point. (Where does 'Nightmare' happen again? My brain is fried!).
Yeah her character was a big disappointment to me. I mean I LOVED her but it was a "why didn't you do mooooore with her???" situation for sure.
I agree, wish there was more of her. It's probably why people on here don't like her(if you're referring to Viv?) cus she didn't have character development or that many cutscenes to give more insight into her character, so she wasn't too sympathetic. That's the trade-off of too many companions

No. It's when he makes the crack about her reforming the circles at her age.
And yeah it got linked.

Thanks for this. Interesting. I can see two possible interpretations of this:
1.) She's older than she appears, but I'm not sure if there is any other evidence that supports this;
or
2.) She's conscious of her aging and it's a weakness that she doesn't let people know about.
I tend to see it as the latter. She's not as young as she used to be and she's aware of that. I'm not sure that this interpretation requires her to be older than she appears, though. She looks like a woman in her mid-late thirties. I've known people that age who have mid-life crises. It's right about the time when people start to dread their birthdays since each one brings you closer to forty. I'm not sure that this line means anything more than just her being a vain woman who doesn't want to age.
But this is probably better left for the Vivienne discussion thread. How about Cassandra and Josephine, huh? They sure are love interests and one of them is more popular than the other, right? Right? ![]()
Oh my god. It's the exact same number as it was for the last two games.
Can people not count higher than two??

Not really what this thread is about...... Read the OP, it's about the discrepancy between the Cassandra's popularity and Josephine's popularity. It's actually not about the number of options at all.
Well I don't know if I can say anything since I'm not a guy, but I can really feel Cass' appeals compared to Josie. Cass is the strong-willed one, yet soft inside. The one who is brash in an endearing way. And her story is just mindblowing. She went from being a faithful to defy the very tenets of the institution that she served for years, declaring a new organization considered heretic, going through the faith-crisis, etc. And she keeps her strength all the time, despite everything that was thrown to her way. I'm making a guy!quisitor just for her or Dorian (or two guy!quisitor, to be decided later)
And she killed a dragon once... and as a Cullen fans (I must admit this), Cass won huge points when I realized that she is actually the only one who had been supporting his decision off lyrium the whole time, putting confidence in him & trusting him (even more than the Inquisitor him/herself). That's Cass for you. Compassion, sympathy, strength, faith, ability to self-question, you name it.
Josie is cute & rather flat in how her stories are told in this game, sadly. I can see much potential for her.
