Yep.

Sera: She seemed shady (metagaming I knew she'd annoy the hell out of me)

Vivienne: The times I do reject her it's because I really don't want her to be divine and my PC wouldn't get along with her.

Dorian: My PC doesn't want drama to start from having a Tevinter mage in a castle full of templars. (metagaming wise I don't want him anywhere near Bull. That and he annoys me so I'd just end up having my PC punch him in the face anyway. Better to avoid the indiginity of that completely).

Blackwall: Too suspicious. Better for him to go his own way with Leliana's spies watching to see if he ends up in contact with his fellow wardens. (Metagaming he too I'd wish I'd punch in the face and the high horse he gets on when he storms off is irkesome.)

I'm not gonna reject Bull or Cole  I could justify it easily enough but no I wouldn't do it.

No, I've taken everyone on every game I've started so far. The two companions I never use in combat, and therefore wouldn't really miss, are two of the mandatory ones, unfortunately.

Mind manipulation ala Cole.

Companions who do not suck on Andraste's teat so fiercely would be welcome.

I see. I hope you get a more suitable game next time.

Like Dorian says, the Inquisition has Chantry written all over it.. even when it's denied.. And DAI is kind of the last hurrah for Chantry stories.

Finally.

There's only one other one (and DA2 is a stretch).

It would be nice if they could tell a different story next time. A story that encouraged people to form their own opinions rather than going along with what the devs appear to want.

Thank you, StreetMagic.

I might have tomatoes thrown my way for saying this, but I have a feeling the Chantry will continue to play a central role in future DA games, and a positive one at that. As in, being positively shoved down the player's throat :P

You are right it will be the time for the Imperial Chantry to shine.

I only wish I could've mutters smug little ******* after doing it.

But no I could never reject my spirit bro D: he saved my life. My Quizzy totally adopted Cole at the end of the game. ^_^

Probably the most likely outcome but I hope that we are wrong.

It really depends on the Inquisitor that I'm playing.

I had one who rejected both Sera (for being a criminal) and Cole (for being a weird demon/spirit thing that played mind tricks).

My current one rejected Viv for being pro-Circle.

Nope, I can appreciate everyone one way or another, even if we have differing motives or opinions, and I'm glad. I see no reason to miss out on content available to me. ^_^ I don't think I could ever even turn down an ally for roleplay reasons, I love all my dudes. <3 The characters make the game for me, all of 'em.

Iron Bull is just another dull over-sized brute - he doesn't interest me in the slightest.

Uh, did you try to get to know the character at all, or did you just see him and decide on that? Because in this case, appearances are very deceiving. I'd suggest giving him a chance.

Varric.... oh wait, that moron won't leave! I even killed Hawke in my recent play through and he still won't get lost.

Sera is useless. Viv is useless. I was going to turn down Cole and Iron Bull but I need them to have a deadly assassin (better than the best Antivan Crow for future assassinations) and the Mighty Qunari Alliance [MQA]. As much as I hate Dorian I could use him as a tool to infiltrate the heart of Tevinter...Then later Kill him as I will have Arishok formally known as Sten kill Iron Bull. Blackwall will later spend 10 years in prison eating darkspawn flesh before his execution. I will also stab Varric with Red Lyrium and have Templar Commander Kill Solas. Cole will remain my Sith Apprentice and Cassandra will remain my lover.

I keep Cole around but I pretty much don't acknowledge him. Ain't nobody got time for parenting (too much drinking with Bull to do).

Sera, not because she's a criminal but because she doesn't really undergo any kind of character development she's basically there for lowbrow humor and to call everything and everyone she doesn't like stupid while taunting and/or murdering them.

Vivienne.  Every. Play through.  Without fail.  Sera may be a terrible character but that's just because of whoever wrote her.  Vivienne is just a gigantic hypocrite who talks down to the Inquisitor at every turn.  Also, I never use her anyway.  Dorian is more interesting and Solas is more useful.

Yeah, I have no clue why some people think that about him... he's like the anti-stereotype of a muscleman. On the outside it seems like it with his all-talk, but not at all once you get to know him lol.

I haven't refused anyone, don't plan to. Don't want to deny myself content and I can always RP a reason to accept.

In my last playthrough my Inquisitor was friends with basically everyone (I think?) but my next Inquisitor may be too "elfy" for Sera's tastes.

Same, won't screw myself outta content, I'll recruit em all. And I don't hate any of the party characters in this game, not even a strong dislike, this was a great cast allround, liked em all for different reasons. Whereas in past DA games I had many I disliked/hated for one reason or another, very odd. :P

I don't think I'm missing much content without Bull. I don't care for his type of banters. And his quest/role doesn't interest me either. As much as I don't like him, I don't want to change or solidify his beliefs. I wish him luck. lol.

That's one thing I hate about this game in general... the idea that you can change people's beliefs or run their religion (with the Chantry specifically).
