I bought a month of Xbox Live last Friday for my annual MP fix. I feel slightly ashamed...

All the people I played with in the beginning have long ago moved on. So I play PUGs exclusively sadly. A lot less fun.

If there's still anybody playing on the Xbox and lives in Europe, feel free to add me.
I still have my taped together but still functional (I think) headset in some drawer.

I should mention that I play Drell Adept 90% of the time. I actually can only sort of play maybe 3-4 characters. I can't shoot so I play biotic classes...

I can't solo Gold, only Silver. But on good days with a weaker team I sometimes outscore everyone on Gold with the Drell.

I played MP when the game came out and stopped playing late 2012. I start playing now.

Things you can expect if you add me:

-An attempt on my part to get my PS4 headset and **** working with my PC.
-Mild to severe profanity, depending on present company.
-Someone who will obsessively hound objectives and revives, who will not spend the whole round on his back, but who will ultimately end up low on the scoreboard for the time being. This just makes you look good in comparison.
-If you're lucky, I might get drunk and talk about how kickass Turians are and wax nostalgic about the good old days when I played Platinum.
-Southern charm, minus the accent. Unless I get drunk/entirely too comfortable around you. Then the accent'll make an appearance.


Overall, I think I'm a moderately worthwhile individual, who can probably get back into the swing of things with a good group.

Drop words : mic, silver, charm, personality, hound objectives, end up low, good group, little equipment or characters
Consider replacing it with these vocab: space magic, fps, predefined objectives, I only host , , hence end-up first everytime, space cowboy, how do I <<console command >>, which exe version , memleaks are for egg heads, fov,...

Spot on : scoreboard, look good

Or consider coming to console if you don't wanna drop those special words- there is no inbetween.

So me and a few friends who play platinum. We made a Discord channel for mass effect multiplayer.

 

Discord is basically replacing skype and teamspeak for gaming.

 

So i thought i might just add it here, so anyone who got a mic can come and chat with us/play with us.

Discord can be used as an app or in browser. personally i use the app, for less resources.

 

We decided to change to this, because ingame origin chat tend to crash.

I had to play like 1,000 hours to comfortably play gold and platinum and i usually just score third or fourth but I'm not horrible at it and I' a great team player, I revive a lot and know what's annoying and what's not.

Uh, that's not true. Not your fault you didn't know though. There are a few of us. Hell Vormav lives in my hometown and caught me up to speed on my old gaming store. Pretty sure there was a girl from oregon that used to post a lot. Forget her name, never played a game with her or anything. I live on Vancouver Island myself. Was another one from lower mainland B.C. Maxcrushmore? Can't remember. Found out a bunch of us were from the pacific northwest in a "Behind the Monitor" thread that got nuked. Unfortunate as that was a good thread. Seriously, the mods nuking those community-making threads is one of the worst things I've seen on this forum. Bloody ridiculous. (It's not the worst though.)

I work for Canada Post and actually have the ability to give people funds if they're registered evacuees and temp change-of-addresses. Bloody crazy to think of having to do that for someone.
