So I have the game installed and running fine on my comp with windows 7 x86.

Only problem is that I cannot log on in game so that I can get my download content that I have
linked to my account on bioware/ea.  I know the account user name and password work
because I can log in fine on ea and this bioware social network site fine with the same user name
and password.

Basically every time i try to log on it gives me "The dragon age servers could not be contacted.  Please try again" error every time I try to log on.

And yes I have dragon age exe running with admin privliages on windows 7.....

I would love to see if anyone else knows how to fix this cause I want access to my DLC!!!

this might help it is from the read me file i know its for the update app. but it has to sign you in to update so works well for me .

If you would like the Dragon Age Updater service to run when your

system starts, follow these steps:

- Run "services.msc" from the Run menu option in Windows. Pressing

the Windows key + "r" will bring this up. (NOTE: services.msc

controls essential components of Windows. Errors in configuration

can prevent the system from operating correctly. Any changes you

make in services.msc are at your own risk.)

- Find the "Dragon Age: Origins Updater" service in the list.

- Double-click on the service to bring up the properties.

- Press the "Start" button if the service is not currently running.

- Change "Startup type:" to "Automatic".

- Close the properties and Services interface.

Hmm sounds like a possible fix. Thanks for the info.

Wish bioware would just fix this issue....

I tried that and it is running...but still cant log in. Also i have killed all my firewalls and antivirus to connect and that did not work either. EA/Bioware is failing pretty hard right now...
