See, I like this. On a guy at least. Dorian can be the lone peacock. :P

Only wish there were more hairsyles.

Fair enough. My character doesn't have to be the "**** of the walk," but the character I create should feel like my *own* creation, not generic. All of the companions have their own unique look, but that is more difficult to accomplish with humans. Qunari by default are unique because there's only Iron Bull, and ONE random NPC qunari I found on the ramparts of Skyhold. My female elf ended up looking unique so that was nice.

I want my human male to have a grizzled warrior look--complete with beard--but well, you are probably familiar with the pathetic Halloween beards available in the CC.

Yeah, I can't get the beards to look right either. I only like Qunari females. They look strong and intelligent.. the males look either too scary or gorilla like. Looking unique definitely works well for Dalish however.. it's subtle enough, and works storywise, because their Vallaslin.

Anyways.. I figured that my character being a mage, and believing he was Herald was standout enough. He's possibly crazy. Or loony, as Sera would say. He just appears average :D

Nose<->mouth<->chin distance has given me a lot of trouble in the past, but has improved since I started using a ruler to make sure I got the ratio correct. Chin size (width and depth) can also be a bit troublesome as it's very hard to tell in the CC how wide the chin actually is. For male characters I feel like there is a natural sweet spot between weirdly pointy chin and comicbook-style masculine chin, but it's been rather hard to hit without a bunch of trial and error.

Overall i find my trouble to be with cheekbone, eye and mouth. Got better with the nose which was a huge problem for me in the beginning.

Tho anything with Elf in the CC is a losing battle for me, everything just seem so way outta proportion when trying to make an Elf thats worth looking at for a long period of time!. Makeup is over the top, and if you lower it, it nearly vanish. Especially the eyes, nose and mouth i just cant fit anywhere on an Elf.

I hate the eyelash colour changing thingy. I made a female elf and she was so beautiful and I was so proud. Then there I was on my way to talk to Leliana and Chancellor Roderick and I looked away for a second as the cutscene began. The moment I looked back at my screen I thought WTF? Why has my beautiful elven goddess bright yellow eyelashes? I didn't notice that in the cutscene at the beginning. And the worst part was, that I didn't make any screen caps from the sliders, because I forgot that.

I also hate the eye position slider. It takes hours for me to decide if the eyes are positioned correctly.

For me, it's the area around the mouth, I'd say lower cheeks (more or less). I couldn't smooth out the lumps.
