RooseVelte:

One 18oz Glass "Frosted"

one 12oz Yuengling Lager

and bout four shots of either Tequila or Jim Beam into glass with lager

Desperate Carl:(this one is up to you for the pick me up)

Coffee with two shots of espresso
French Vanilla cream

Honey Whiskey(wild turkey honey is my choice)

Shot of Tequlia

Terminator:

220z "Frosted" Galss

Vanilla Vodka four shots

Carmel Tequlia two shots

The Dark 'n Stormy

2 ounces dark rum
3 ounces ginger beer
1/2 ounce lime juice

Glass Type: Collins glass
Instructions

Combine the rum,* the ginger beer,** and the lime juice, which is optional, in a tall glass full of ice cubes. Stir. The key here is nailing the precise ratio between the spice of the ginger beer and the richness of the rum. Depending on brands of each used, you may want to play around with the proportions. No true Bermudian would put lime juice in his D & S, but here in the States that's how it comes (perhaps the Moscow Mule has something to do with that). Frankly, we prefer it with the lime -- but we're not Bermudian, now, are we? In fact, we've never even been to the "still-vexed Bermoothes," as Shakespeare calls 'em (sorry -- couldn't help slipping that in).

* Bermuda's own Gosling's Black Seal is of course the preferred brand, but anything dark and funky will work.

** If you can find Barritt's, it's from Bermuda. If not, anything will work as long as it's ginger beer and not ginger ale.

Why whine about them, when you can drink them?

The Social Justice Warrior

MAKES: 1 cocktail (plus more vinegar)

FOR THE VINEGAR
1/2 cup locally sourced beet juice
1 cups locally sourced carrot juice
1 cups bottled, distilled spring water
1/2 cup sugar, harvested by a fair trade cooperative
1/4 cup white vinegar distilled from organic grains

FOR THE COCKTAIL
2 ounces fair trade gin
1/2 ounce organic locally sourced lemon juice
Ginger ale or lemon-lime soda that has only organic sugar as sweetener, bottled
Organic Carrot ribbons, for garnish (optional)

1. Bring 1 cup water, the vinegar and sugar to a simmer in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring, until the sugar dissolves. Add the remaining 1 cup water, the beet juice, carrot juice and chill at least over night.
2. Put 4 ounces Social Justice Warrior and 2 ounces gin in an ice-filled cocktail shaker 30 seconds or until cold; strain into an ice-filled glass and top with seltzer. Garnish with a carrot ribbon, if desired.
3. For each cocktail, shake 1/4 cup Social Justice Warrior and 2 Tbsp. gin in cocktail shaker with ice; strain into an ice-filled glass. Top with ginger ale.

Why this cocktail? It's red through and through and very hard to beet. :D

Ingredients

Wild Turkey 101-- 4.5oz.

Serve neat, at room temperature in whatever glass you happen to have laying around. Don't actually measure 4.5oz, just kinda eyeball it.

I don't drink often enough to have mixed drink ideas in mind, but I bought a small Wild Turkey American Honey that lasted a whole 24 hours before it was gone because goddamn that was good. Gonna have to get a bigger one next time.

Canadian/American BBQ Beer combo.

- Take a 3 cans of each type of beer.

- Put one can of American beer under old table leg to steady it.

- Put 2nd can of American beer as a weight to hold table cloth down.

- Toss the 3rd can of american beer into the fire at midnight to see what will happen.

- Drink the Canadian Beers.

It is my favorite scotch, I would buy it a hell of a lot more often if it wasn't so expensive, but when i do get the funds for it. Man is it worth it.

Did you try it once and not like it?

If you actually like that kind of stuff, you should try Devil's Springs.

It actually doesn't taste as bad as Everclear.
