I'm... new here in the forums. And I don't know what I'm doing. Anyway, hello! You can call me Iz, or Lumen. I'm an art student, and... that means I have to get myself used on finishing stuff. That's why I'm here, I guess?

 

So far, I've drawn stupid stuff, and just an unbelievable amount for my Inquisitor. Nothing out of the ordinary, yes? I've half-willed half-forced myself to get on with drawing more for Dragon Age, but so far, have this.

 

 

 

It's technically done, but the actual picture is in tumblr, which I can't access at the moment due to stupid connection issues.

(And I was planning to start a Dragon Age webcomic about me and my brother's misadventures in playing, but suddenly I'm not so sure about that. ;;;; I drew my warden though, just in case.)

I never been to an art school, but here's my cliche bit: You'll never be done with your pieces. There is always something you can add or improve.

More sketches since college has been a ****** and enrollment is an ass and sketches is the only thing I have time for:

 

 

My friend's Inquisitor. We drew each other's Inquisitors while we had the chance. ovo

 

 

Planning ahead for my second Inquisitor, Mryka Adaar. Her name's a mash-up of my friends' initials. =) I'll draw my third Inquisitor once I got the chance.

 

 

Facial studies. I'll have more cause some of the inner circle's faces still confuse me. ;;

 

 

Early design for my Inquisitor. Was only at the first part of the prologue when I dew this, so it was a little inspired by her mercenary coat.

 

 

Test pages for the brush pens my friend gave me as a souvenir from Japan. Also tried mixing them with other pens like Unipin and a really fancy fountain pen.

At least you are filling out your sketchbook. Most of the time people do not even fill up half in a year.

Sometimes I do wish my General Education classes don't exist, I just want to draw all day ouo;;; I already have so many full sketchbooks. I finish like one or two every month or so. They're all faces and weird designs, though.

That's interesting. You have the same mechanical pencil model as I do.

It came with a set I had to buy for a pointilism plate, hahaha. It's good but it clogged on my first few uses, so my preferred mechanical pencil is those cheap Faber-Castell ones.

 

Okay, I'm a SAI gal, so Photoshop is foreign ground to me (or rather, I tried it once or five times and it did not work out well). But since I realized that the DAI tarot cards are kinda texture-y and SAI doesn't have that, I have to switch over to PS if I want to make my own tarots. I decided to download some new brushes and try to make something and... holy hell, I'm starting to love this.

 

 

I'll try to make an actual tarot card this weekend after my school work, but so far, I think I'm going the right path. uwu

And a Solavellan thing I did earlier, still trying to get used with PS brushes. A blockmate helped me with the poses cause I suck at couple poses
