So far I've found with a heal on kill staff, an enhanced ring of health and death siphon tend to give me 25% life back and with the elementalist he is basically unkillable so long as you have fire down on the map that mobs can burn to death. If you're down you will revive to 1/3 health when they burn to death

Necro does the same thing with Walking Bomb and Blizzard.  And Alchemist/Hunter with Poison/Mines to a lesser extent with HoK rings and weapons (Wicked Grace ).
