In most cases it's impossible to see whats goin on durring battle! 'Tactical' mode let us scan battlefield with small microscopic window recording 'in head' whats goin aroud, camera is verry low with many views problems. In this mode it's impossible to play. In normal mode we cant see mostly part of combat field and enemies. Controls just make me cry, its so hard to play. Please:
- make some mod 'clikc-to-move'
- make some mod 'camera-long-distance'

I find the tactics OK, but I don't like how it has been attached to middle mouse. I almost don't dare zoom with my mouse in case it goes into tactics mode (and thereby ruin the battle).
I also hate the way you have to press down the mouse button to move the view point. It's so annoying.
I found the game much more enjoyable once I disabled switching to tactical camera on zoom out.

Personally, I don't have so much issues with the controls and camera, although the camera in tactical view certainly could be bettered. I'm using tactical view a lot and have can micromanage combat just fine. Anyway, there is a mod with an infinite zoom script, that works well - but it is a bit of a hassle to have to set up each time you run the game.

believe me: you are not alone. when I started the game I could not believe it. Such disaster in year 2014.
I really cried for good old 2d - just to be able to play the game.

You may know this already, but you can turn that function off in the options, so that the middle mouse button won't ever allow the camera to go into tactical mode.
