My EA and BioWare accounts are linked to the same email address but I entered my Cerberus code on the website. Now in the game, on the 360, it says the code is "already in use."
I don't think I'm having the problem most people are having. Only my gamertag/Live email was different but I'm hearing that that shouldn't be a problem?

yea im getting this problem too.
I picked the game up at a flea market on sunday, linked my code here. Now it says the code is already in use if i try to enter it in the game. But sunday night i put the code in on the redeem code section of the website here. It confirmed stuff to unlock after the page refreshed.
am i screwed here? what's the deal?

Yeah, it says all of my stuff is unlocked for the 360 here on the site. I've tried downloading it to the PC, I've tried registering the game, but nothing's working.

I'm getting the same error. I entered the code into the Bioware Social Network, rahter than in game because I didn't know I could. So now it's saying that the code is in use when it really isn't.
My EA account is not linked to my Xbox account so I don't know what to do here

My XBL gamertag isn't listed as a "persona" on my EA.com account. When I try to add it it says it's "already taken." I don't recall ever setting up an earlier EA account connected with my gamertag, with a different email address. I guess I could be wrong, but...

Im having the exact same problems as you Higgles.
Oh and everybody, when you entered in your cerberus network card numbers, did it show up as normandy crash site DLC on your Bioware accounts? O_o

Yeah it did. I think that's just because it's the only thing available for download at the moment (other than the CE and Dragon Age armor/weapons). I heard the extra character was delayed.

Same here...wish I would have booted up the disc before reading the INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CARD THAT CAME WITH THE GAME...Everything is linked properly. When I put the code online it said "Code successfully redeemed! NOTE: You may need to refresh your wallet balance in-game before content will appear in-game. " So I did so and rebooted my Xbox 360 as it says "Xbox 360
Please restart your console for your new content to appear. " VERY FRUSTRATING BIOWARE! Why not give us a friggin' Xbox Live redeem code...those always seem to work right...this linking crap is just that, crap...

To think, so many of us could be enjoying the game right now if the damn card had just said, "access the Cerberus Network from the main menu of the game and enter your code."
Instead of telling us to use the website (why? why do that?!)

So I tried some old email address at EA.com and found that my gamertag is, indeed, attached to an old account. No way to change it myself though (that I can find). No way to remove or transfer a persona, and when I enter my current email address, it tells me it's already in use (yes, EA, BECAUSE IT'S MINE!).
This is so frustrating.

It's pretty stupid really. All they had to do was to say that you input the code once you turn on the game, otherwise you can screw yourself out of getting it. I HIGHLY doubt that everyone has their EA account linked to their Live account, and how many people do you think will make new accounts just for that purpose and taking up more space?
A redeem code woulda been great. But heck, even the GameStop dlc is weird too because it should have just been a redeem code as well, but like the Cerebrus it's something else entirely. Gah.

One big problem is how poorly EA handled the early days of this service. So few games used it, and for no real purpose, that I bet a lot of us played some random EA game from years ago and were forced to make an account, then never thought about it again until recently, since they've actually started doing something with it.
I finally got someone on the phone. On hold again but I'm making some progress.
Baby steps... baby steps...

Yeah had the same issue, just contact EA through there chat thing and they can change what EA account your Gamertag is linked to. However be careful, cause for me the switch allowe4d me to access the promos I entered under the EA account, but now I am locked out of the cerberus network as my code is "already in use". For saving literally what must have been pennies EA really screwed the pooch with all this hassle of linking gamertag and EA accounts to access content rather then just using the marketplace.

I have the exact same problem. I'm waiting in a queue for live chat, hopefully to have them merge the accounts or delete the persona off the older account.

When you talk to them, be sure to ask if they need to give you new codes for items or serberus. My guy waited while I verified everything was working, but when if I asked if I would need new codes for promo items and/or cerberus network, he said it was a strong possibility. So yeah, also be sure to ask them if they mind waiting while you check (assuming they don't they don't tell you).

So you have to buy new codes? Or will they give you new ones?

Any resolution to this? I'm having the same problem. I went online and registered, but i created an account on here w/the same email that my Xbox Live account is linked to, not realizing i already had a DIFFERENT email address registered w/EA.com.
Needless to say, i can't redeem the damn code on my Xbox since it says the code has already been redeemed.
