Any clue why the Stone Prisoner and the Dragon Blood Armor would download to 100% but not install at all? When I look at the version it shows that it's red on version required: 1.0.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks.

Red version number is fine.
If you got other DLC installed ok - try giving this a bit of time. In particular with Stone Prisoner it can take a while to uncompress all of it, and other DLC may finish downloading in that time (e.g. Armor) but will not begin installing until the current DLC is done installing.
Let us know if that resolved it.

Dragon Blood Armor is what I downloaded first. Still giving me problems.
Also will it install to all characters or just the current active save?

I left the Downloaded content window open for the entire 12 hours I was away to work, got home and now all the stuff says it's READY to be downloaded even though it was at 100% downloaded for 24 hours before I left for work.
Also there is a red exclamation mark at the top of the downloaded page and the only thing other than that on the page that is red is the version number. Says required version is 1.0.
I installed the game from the cds, is that not version 1.0?

All dlc worked fine for me except " The Lucky Stone" shows 100% downloaded but won't install.

That red exclamation mark is very familiar. I'll just have to leave the game on and going and see if that helps get things downloaded. I got my Memory band downloaded and installed but all other just stood on 0% and didn't do anything else...
Also: I thought the stone prisoner was to be included in all copies? Mine says that it costs 1200 points and I've already added all the codes that was in my CE-box...

how do I get my extras? Got the DL from EA store, but no codes have arrived yet apart from the main game.

Is "Extracted" equal to "Installed"?
I get downloading, Installing, Extracting, Extracted. But then nothing appears in the installed tab. Is Extracted our endgame, here?

I had the 'fully downloaded but not installed' problem with The Stone Prisoner but finally got it working. Here's what I did:
1) Disable all your DLC.
2) Log out of the game.
3) Run the DA:O Launcher and hit the Configure button to bring up the Config utility. Then click 'Repair' on the left then click 'Clear Download Cache', then up the top where it says 'Dragon Age: Origins' click that, and hit 'Save Settings'.
4) Run the DAUpdater.exe, select all the files in the Documents and Settings/All Users/Application Data/Bioware/Dragon Age/DAUpdater/Data. (You may need to have Administrator privileges and have 'Show Hidden Files or Folders' ticked to see the Application Data folder)
5) Select all of those files that are now in the DAUpdater.exe list and hit "Install selected".
6) Open the game.
7) Log into your account.
8) Open the "Downloadable Content" menu.
9) Let it fully load, then hit the small refresh-like arrow thing next to the points.
10) Click the "Installed Content" tab and enable all the DLC (hopefully Stone Prisoner is already enabled now)
11) Load a save file (I loaded my one before leaving Lothering to enter camp, so try that save file - it was an Autosave just before I left Lothering)
I then had the message saying the quest was updated, and therefore working.

So I just had the problem that the Stone Prisoner DLC had finished downloading but the installation failed and after that it sat at 100% downloaded without any option to retry the installation.
Here's how I fixed it:
1. find the Bioware\\Dragon Age\\ folder in your Documents folder
2. go in the Settings folder and find the Manifest.xml file
3. find the part of the file that concerns the DLC you have trouble with and delete the "ConsumeSuccess" string. To find out which part concers your DLC you might have to cross check the Offers.xml or the oders in Dragons Age\\AddIns.
4. restart the game and go to the DLC tab, it should try to install the dlc now and hopefully it won't fail again.

Are you sure? The stone prisoner code was on the back of the Dragon Armor paper.Winterbay wrote...

I have been waiting a about 8 hours since the 2 DLC downloaded.
How far in the game do you have to go before there is DLC available to buy? as the tab is completely empty.

I have a similar problem, all my deluxe DLC have downloaded but don't install. The two bigger DLCs even start to extract but fail to install nonetheless. What can I do? Is this some sorta problem regarding Windows 7?

I had the same problems with all of my DLC.
Everything downloads fine, but nothing installs
I solved it yesterday by doing the following:
1. Delete the Temp folder in
My Documents\\\\BioWare\\\\DragonAge\\
Something seems to go wrong when you do the install from the ingame menues.
2. To install them, use the daupdater.exe found in:
C:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\bin_ship
You will find the downloaded DAzip-files in the following folder:
C:\\\\Documents and Settings\\\\All Users\\\\Application Data\\\\BioWare\\\\Dragon Age\\
3. Install and it should work!
Observe that the downloaded DLC-files are not found in your "My documents" Bioware folder, but in the path for all users as mentioned above.
