Tevinter over anywhere else, by such a wide margin.
What other countries do you wish to see?

Short answer: all of them. But I would actually like to visit Antiva in particular - A ) because of the Crows and B ) because Josephine made it sound interesting when i talked to her about her home.

Dorian also makes it clear that using your own blood or of a willing participant is not looked down upon and this is the only "rampant" blood magic. The forbidden stuff are actually forbidden. Mages are imprisoned, made tranquil or executed like southern mages. Political station saving someone is nothing new. Orlesian nobility have slaves and sex slaves behind closed doors as well.

o.o you pick to roll a Sith you choose to buy into the dogma.
Since the game was explicitly marketed as making character morality independent of faction, that's not a particularly strong defense. Instead, however, even "light side" Imperial and Sith players do many fundamentally evil things in support of a fundamentally evil regime.
Rivain is set for all kinds of interesting with the Quanri-Thedas sandwich going on. Though I think traveling works better than not for BioWare so maybe something nautical themed with exploring the northern coasts? New places would be nice and that's where most of them are.
They could play the slave / lower classes uprising angle. Though I don't know if that's their style.
But I agree on the not being sure about kind of maybe playing magic Nazis.
I'd like a nautical Dragon Age game very much, actually. I think that having a roving home base worked quite well for Mass Effect and KotOR, after all - better than the random camp did for Origins, anyway, and I'm more than a little ambivalent about Skyhold. I wonder how likely it is, though, in terms of asset creation and whatnot.
And yeah, I agree: I don't really think that 'lower classes uprising' is really their style, either. Not for a protagonist. I'd suggest the Grey Wardens of Tevinter, but I don't know if Tevinter even has Wardens, and I think that Gaider said that a Warden protagonist is unlikely going forward.

It was?
You either support corrupt expansionist elitism or social dwarnism factionally, politics aside you do what you do, it's war.

I think it can be done for as much effort as you want to put in. At least your camp is now a boat and your fast travel gets a sailing animation, more and you can start playing around with nautical gameplay or special hat bonuses.
Hmm, Thedas naval combat should mostly be ramming and boarding right? That could be fun.

The Inquisition are basically Not Wardens, so you could create another neutralish hero faction - or just franchise the Inquisition. Having to work with guys who are pretty horrible might make the neutral but not neutral dynamic more interesting than it has been before.
Please don't franchise the Inquisition.

At a stretch Id probably only say Rivain if only to see where Isabela came from.

Although I would like to visit Tievinter, Bioware hasn't proofen themselves to be capable of making large cities that look great. And that would be the main points of Tievinter, their huge fortress citites.
Par-Volen would most likely be quite dull and far to organized for me. And they have no cookies.
Regarding the continent that the Qunari hail from: Most likely you won't find Qunari there. Everything that has been said about the arrival of the Qunari points to them fleeing their home lands. They were most likely a minority that had to evacuate.

Tevinter/Qunari lands would be interesting. You could see the differences in culture, the racial tensions, etc. I imagine whatever race/class you were able to pick would have a big impact.
Antiva/Rivain. They sound potentially very interesting, between the Crows, Raiders and Seers.
Anderfels, provided it was centred around a big darkspawn/Grey Warden plot. The barren landscape might be off-putting though. Could get as samey as Kirkwall. Frequent trips to the Deep Roads would be needed too. Maybe reaching a lost thaig or one of the Old Gods or something.

Tevinter, Par Vollen, Nevarra. In that order. I would like to see more of Orlais too, but I suspect we'll be moving away from there.
Antiva (especially if I could play as a Crow), Anderfels or Rivain (...or pirate) would be fine too, but I'm done with Ferelden and the Free Marches.
