Just what the tin says.

I'm betting some of them won't.

Even my 1.5 year old high end TV has quad core in it......and my older Intel i7 CPU is quad core.....quad core is common today. Single and dual core are old and obsolete tech.

More and more games will use more than 4 cores in future coz of nextgen consoles..

There's absolutely nothing wrong with a game requiring quad core. What's bullshit is claiming to support dual core and then not working on it.

yeah dual core witcher 3 hahahaha OMG I can't wait to see the 800x600 footage from that experience. I wonder how they gave the Mario sprite long white hair... I guess we'll have to wait and see!!

CDProjektRed is a company that deserves our investment.. They actually still care about their customers.. Like Bioware used too.;..I gladly endorse them whenever i get the chance.. Guess they arent tainted by American business "ethics"...
Bioware making DA:I for last gen consoles should have been all the heads up we needed, in hindsight.. What a money grubbing bunch of scumbags..

That TW3 will require a quad-core, the same way everything else will?
I read the OP as saying the opposite. That TW3 won't.

Those are quad-cores.
That was my point. We had people in here when DA:I came out claiming that it should run on dual core systems and that the Denuvo DRM was what required them to have a quad core system and they were all pissy and indignant. Now that another major RPG is requiring quad core processors hopefully we won't hear any more stupidity from the people that feel new, large, AAA titles should be playable on dual-core systems.

Except that no matter your rigs power, DA:I runs like ****... Ill bet my left nut, CDProjektRed has FAAR mroe polish with The Witcher, with an even better visual
And again.. DA:I had to be tuned down, because the greedy company decided that it should also be sold on last gen consoles, rather than make the best possible game with TODAYS best tech..

DA:I runs at 60+ FPS for me w/o any issue. So that's absolutely not true.

Amazing. Youre the ony person who has cinematics over 30fps, or the hissing wastes that dont studder, or directx crashes, war room crashes, etc.. Not to mention, the insanely rcanky DAMP....pfft, dont make me laugh

I didn't say the cinematics ran over 30FPS. But otherwise, no, I have had 0 DX crashes, 0 war room crashes and no stutter. My FPS was wonky when I had v-sync on but otherwise it's all run perfectly.
I can't comment on MP because I will never play it.

I ran it fine on a core i3 actually, with a r9270x 8 gigs of ram with all the people complaing about games like watchdog's or this
your understanding of matching components need's to increase, a core i5 with my current gpu would hardly increase performance , but If I wanted to crossfire it would be necessary, and Ill run any game coming up on this system at least on high settings,

No, he's not the only person. Aside from the cinematics (which are locked at 30FPS for everyone regardless), I get no stuttering, no directx or war table crashes (I've one crash in total in 170 hours of gametime). Can't comment on DAMP since I don't play MP.
Sorry you're having a bad technical experience, but don't assume that's true of everyone. It isn't, by any means.
