Has anyone played this game? I played it when I was younger and although with its problems, I felt the game was amazing. This is a goldmine IP that I wish some developer would pick up and make into a better game. For those that never played,

This was a game made for the dreamcast based on the books Dragon Riders of pern. Where in an alternate universe there is this threat called thread and these people called dragon riders would ride on their dragons and fight it and destroy it. In this particular game thread is no longer a threat and now the dragon riders have to figure out their place. There are different colored dragons. Gold, bronze, red, blue, green. Basicially when a dragon hatches it chooses its rider. There is only one gold and she will choose the leader. They're ranked and are different based on color. You play as D'kor and you have a bronze dragon. 

The games developer was ubisoft although it reminds a lot of an old bioware game  (not inquisition where most quests were fetch quests) but like Kotor, Jade empire, mass effect. You have an intellegence meter a strength meter and a reputation meter and based on how high those are you can complete certain quests, with a high strength you can move a boulder blocking your path. There were a lot of great ideas in this game. One of the side quests that is throughout the game (a subplot) the gold rider had died and so a new egg was to hatch and you needed to go around finding candidates for the egg. 

The game's biggest issue in my opinion was the loading screens. almost 10 mins to load per screen. Just a mess. Controls were wonky, so it can be frustrating for someone not used to old games like that. the sneaking stuff was frustrating. I'd love to see a remake or for someone to take this ip and make a solid game out of it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Not a dreamcast thread lol I just liked the game but hated the 10 minute loading screens thought it would be cool if they took this world and made a game out of it.
