Ok we all know that the forums upload your DA:O character portraits. Is there any way to trick the upload system so it uploads a different PNG?

Wouldn't we all, but the forums get the portrait here somehow, so there has to be a way around it.

Ehhhh too much risk of troublemakers uploading naughty stuff for their avatars and the mods wouldn't want to have to deal with it.

A couple of dozen more for default would be good. The system would be abused having uploaded custom avatars. So for Bioware it is a no go.



It gets kind of annoying seeing four different people talking with the same Turian avatar on the ME forums. Not to mention confusing! lol

I don't think it uploads your DA:O avatar, rather it tells the forums how to create it. that'd explain why custom tattoos and hair styles don't display properly, since the forums character creator doesn't contain them

When you create a cahracter, the portrait is generated.



You can find it in your Documents/Bioware folder somehwere. It's a simple PNG file, so you can edit it and once you connenct to the internet, the edited image will be uplaoded. Voila!

You can always try to change the file yourcharactersname_portrait.png in the Characters directory; not sure if it would work, though.
