I have completed each game as they were released, but going back, I can only ever get through the original. It's not that I hate me2, it's a decent game in it's own right, I just get bored scanning planets and endless run and gun "action". It seems like a lot of story was ripped from this series after the original... which I just recently did 2 complete playthroughs of. I don't know, I personally really liked riding around in my Mako ...and having an inventory. 9999999 credits is so easy lol.
Anyone else can't complete this trilogy?

I probably have more trouble getting through ME1 as far as stalled playthroughs go. When it happens, I tend to get stuck after 3 story planets and most of the side missions. Typically that means only Virmire and then the end run is left.
For ME2 I do have a couple characters in limbo, but one of them just has a couple DLC missions to do, and the other needs to do Reaper IFF and then SM and Arrival.

I defend the trilogy to the hilt when friends of mine see my XBL status and comment "you only play **** games", because I'm not playing the COD or whatever, but truth be told I find ME 2 to be a bit of a slog. I still find the first game hugely enjoyable and can get through it happily, but my aspirations of a full trilogy run stall at ME2. I just want to get into ME3 by that point which I still find exciting.
What I could do with is a really well made "Mass Effect 1 and 2 in 20 minutes" video for each major decision moment. Similar to the Genesis comics but accurate.

I love the first two games and I'm someone that always does all the side missions, but when it comes to ME3 I always get bored about half-way, three quarters in.
Then it's just a slog.

I finished 2 & 3 eight times, the first one ~12 times. I usually let the games rest for a couple of months, forget about them, then I see someone with a ME avatar on some forum and think "Why not?" and start playing again.

I love all 3!
I I've played the series over and over and over and over and.... well you get my point. I've played it ALOT! and it's still my favorite game series ever. Dragon Age is 2nd, others i'd have to think about. I love the story BioWare implements in their games. Love it! I also like the combat, it keeps me entertained and the character skill trees are cool. The DLC are cool to, not all of them but most of em are. If I had to pick which Mass Effect I love most (hard choice) it would be ME1. ME3 2nd and ME2 is 3rd.

I only did one play through. I am considering ME2, I haven't played it yet so I reloaded ME and started a new game. I enjoyed the game the first time, except for the moon buggy missions...

Snap it's the same with me I've played all 3 and I play them over and over again as well lost count of how many I've done. I do know I can say I've beaten the trilogy with all 6 classes though For me it's probably a different order of favourites though because for me ME2 feels like the most complete packqage in terms of variety of missions and story and Graphics.
With ME3 I can see why a lot of people have issues with ME3's ending although it doesn't bother me personally as I had a feeling before even the game came out that it was going to be a Shepard goes out with a big bang kind of ending anyway. The ending still made sense to me as well from a sci fi perspective and how I understand the ME universe so I'm fine with it. I think the ending was weak and could have been approached better but it is what it is and I'm happy with it. Graphically the game was brilliant and I would say even beats ME2 in some areas Gameplay wise is definitely on a par with ME2 as well. it's only really the story being a little weak for me that lets it down. ME3 still has it's iconic grand moments as all 3 games do The genophage mission when you and Wrex aer teaming up together to rally the krogan against the reapers is one of the finest scenes you could wish to see makes me glad I choose to save the krogan even if it does mean Mordin has to die in the process. there's a lot of good iconic scenes in the Citadel DLC too most of them because they're extremely comical and by that I mean funny especi9ally the scene with Zaeed in the arcade. I would put ME3 in the middlein terms of my order.
I would put ME1 at the bottom I like it a lot but the story is a little short compared with 2 and 3. I also felt the graphics were sometimes a little weak in places as well they were still strong compared with some of the games coming out around that time but still a little weak compared to what we've seen since. The landscapes you get to explore were large which is a good thing and I do still enjoy driving the Mako although the driving mechanics of that cou8ld definetely have been done better although havi9ng said that I don't think some of the landscapes themselves helped half the time either.
All in all a great trilogy but these aer just my feelings on it.

I am playing through ME 1 again now and man the combat is sooo sloppy lol I love ME2 the most, I do like the combat and the story seems to flow a lot better. It felt like I was watching a really long movie but I can see why some people wouldn't like that in a game.

I'm new to the series, thanks to the trilogy pack being available in orgin.
So I played ME1 and I really enjoyed it, but so far I'm liking the companions better in ME2. I'm not even a quarter in though, so I'll update this when I get more information.

ME2 is my favorite of the series and I played through it countless times, but only because of the save editor. I give myself tons of gold and resources so I don't have to bother with all the scanning and stuff. Without those I would not be able to play the game most likely ![]()

I've done several playthroughs of ME2 without having to do any scanning. I had enough resources at the beginning, with import, to get the upgrades I needed

Fortunately my non-gaming flatmate wants to try out an RPG, so I'm going to stick her on ME1 and relive the game through her vicariously!

I am on my first game of ME1. It was on sale for cheap on the xbox 360 store so I bought it. I am a late bloomer, only played Dragon Age Origins in January 2014 and then did DA2 and Inquisition a couple of times. I love it right now and plan to play 2 and 3 next. I play on Casual and with max target assist. I am not used to using a gun, having played DA so much.

Actually, I've been thinking about an ME1 run for a while. I miss the Citadel, the music, the feel of the place.

Played 1+2 last year, ME3 this year (DA:I got in my way before that), liked ME1+2, loved ME3, currently replaying them all (will hopefully finish ME1 this week), and planning on more trilogy playthroughs in the future. I never would've thought I'd play those games again after I finished ME1+2, but ME3 really did it for me, got me invested in the series completely and it made me want to play through the whole story again.

I've completed ME1 and ME2 but haven't really gotten a chance to play ME3 yet. A part of me doesn't want to acknowledge that game because of the ending, so I've been putting it off for sometime now.

Bought the series a 2nd time for the PC when the mod came out and I enjoy all 3 again. Just started a new ME1 game which I'll carry over till the end.
If they ever do a special edition for the 360 with all 3 games and something that adds Shepard at the memorial, should she/he survive, I'd purchase it a 3rd time. If not, I'll just keep playing what I have.
