I'm at the Dragon Age Keep site and stuck. I'm trying to make a world state where the Warden (my character in Dragon Age 1) lived and Alistar was king but it won't let me. WTH? I coulda sworn that's what happened in my play through lol. Anyone else run into this? This is quite time consuming, I'm about to say screw it and just go default. What's your opinion on the default world state? Thanks.

Check to see if the world state is unlocked, allowing you to make changes. That's the most likely issue. You absolutely can do that, although it may require you to change other aspects that being king won't allow

Hmm. Well, I was making changes in regards to companions before. It needed my character to be dead in order for Alistar to be king. Weird. I'll have another look around.

No, it needed for you to be dead or for someone to have done the dark ritual. You probably have something locked that was preventing that from changing.

So even though my world state had the dark ritual done, kieran is nowhere to be found. Guess my world state just stopped applying at some point? Is there a way to fix this if morrigan is already at skyhold? Going back to a previous save is moot because I dont know when it just stopped applying.
