My apologies if there is already a thread for this, but I don't feel I need to do any work to try and donate my time to helping Bioware.
Specs: Xbox 360 slim, 200 gigs of unoccupied space.
So honestly, Inquisition has been by far the greatest let down of any game I've ever played. And it's my own fault, because I was cheap and purchased it for the xbox 360. I want to point out that I have never left a product review in my life, and am only doing this because Bioware has always been my favorite company, and I hope they can use this review to improve the situation for future gamers.
So before buying, I knew that the graphics would not be as good on the 360, and I predicted a few extra bugs that could be fixed by patches. However, I did not anticipate that my $60 USD would earn me a glorified version of Runescape. I even thought I might have been over reacting to the shotty quality until my laymen little sister asked if I was playing Runescape.
I wish Bioware had not released this game on the 360, because the quality so absolutely horrendous that my faith in the company has been severely shaken (after being a steadfast fan since the beginning).
Rendering is so slow that boulders and trees pop up randomly. The audio is finicky at best, often choosing to not vocalize entire cut scenes. And the combat is so not fluid that attacks often do not connect or offer any feedback when they do, and multiple frames are frequently skipped; resulting in many deaths and strange glitches.
I have played about 12 hours of Inquisition, hoping the whole time that the quality would improve, or some aspect of the game would make up for the utter let down in other areas; but that time never came. I will be returning this game to gamestop if they will let me, and If all goes well I may purchase inquisition for the xbox1 at a later date. But if I cannot get a full refund, I do do not think I will be purchasing anymore bioware games due to this experience.
To other Bioware fans, I urge you to not purchase DA:I for the xbox 360 because it is not worth the money.
