Here recently I've been speaking to the game telling it to play more music but it just won't listen to me. :(

The ambient music that played in the Winter Palace was really mesmerizing and it's a fabulous track.  While I'm out exploring the Exalted Plains, or the Hinterlands....or anywhere else really, is there some way to make the ambient music play a little more frequently or a little longer?  At least some type of toggle switch or something?  There's times when I open up a new area when I expect to hear mysterious music or something and there's nothing there.  It kind of takes away some of the dramatic effect necessary to help get a bit more engaged into the gameplay.

Thanks. :)

There isn't much music for exploration.... When you say you want more music, you probably think of Skyrim. That game had a LOT of music.. but not DAI. While the sountrack is great, it's very short for a game of this size. Many cutscenes were silent... <_<  and most of the your exploration is silent also with  some music playing for like 10 or 15 seconds and then silence again.

The maps might have needed separate music tracks for exploration... and possibly for combat. It's a real shame that we have so little music in the game.

Yep.  Each area's unique music really gives it its own personality.  It might not be a "marker" that a lot of other gamers use to remember locations by, but personally, I spend quite a bit of time reminiscing video games by listening to the music associated with an area, an event, a unique location, etc.  The soft tickling melody that plays in the Winter Palace is just...beautiful.  I wish there was more music like this in the rest of the game (for exploration) and of course the option to turn it off if you don't want to hear it.
