From what I've read one of the players gets to play as Jason.

My first thought?
Crissy for Final Girl! She was, by far, the best character in that game. Debbie and George were the worst.
My second thought?
You know what? A reboot of this game could actually be pretty bad ass.
My third thought (after reading that it's coop multiplayer)?
No thanks.

I do think that it being Co-op took away most (if not all) potential scare factor that the game could have had.

On a side note: The Friday the 13th Reboot Reboot that was scheduled for November 13th of this year has been pushed back for the second or third time, its new release date is May 13th, 2016.
I guess Someone at the studio finally realized that having a script for a movie is important (yes, they didn't even have someone to write the script within a year of the films previously scheduled release 
).

I'm kind of bummed it's going to be an asymmetrical co-op game. While I love asymmetrical co-op and wish more games used that style of multiplayer, I feel like you can very easily ruin any semblance of Horror your game might have when you give the job of scaring people into the hands of an actual player. I guess we'll see though, I'd really like for this game to be good instead of just more licensed trash.
