Why 310?  Why not?  And actually this could be a tale of 310 lobbies/matches.

Actual games played:  124  (This is games successfully played, not match victories.)

Left Lobby or game: 90  (Instances where I left the lobby or game for others not readying up, crap music, lousy in game behavior.  This number is probably high in part because I do not wait long for people to ready up.)

You Have Lost Connection: 39 (Self explanatory)

Game Crash: 31 (Booted to Xbox one desktop. Game freezes resulting in having to restart Xbox, etc)

No Key Bug: 23 (Self Explanatory)

Kicked: 4 (In game kicks)

A total of 93 games/lobbies fubared by lost connection, game crash or no key bug.  Almost a 3rd of all lobby attempts.

I can confirm a similar ratio, mostly due to players quitting the lobby or not readying, disconnects, crashes and the "no key" bug. Add to this the game time spent waiting in loading screens and reloads because of failed connections, I played probably a bit more than 1/2 of my game time in games which actually were finished. It is infuriating.

I generally get the "lost connection to lobby" about 3-6 times in a row, when it happens. Then I'll go... 3-6 matches without getting it.

So, for me, it's probably about 50%. Definitely far higher than any issue I get with ME 3, or any other game. I've always wondered why lobby connections appear to be so tenuous.

What the bigger question is, for me, is why can I press "B" from a lobby, and be back in MP menu in 1 second, but if I lose connection to that lobby, I have to go through 2 load screens for a minute before I get back to MP menu?

My key bug ratio is really low, but my left lobbies is much higher. I just gave up and if I see an Elementalist, I just leave.

I've had the crash to XBone home off and on, but never had to restart her yet. Just wait a few seconds and relaunch the game.

I almost never get the key glitch, maybe like 5 times in 150 games.

But don't be jealous, I get ridiculous amounts of lost connection to lobby, a fair share of CE error crashes (ps4) and I leave around 50% of my lobbies for people not readying up or people kicking me for not realizing my lvl 7 is usually better than their character. I only do threatening pugs. Perilous pugs have less glitches but I find perilous puffers mostly suck. Make it totally worth while when you find a good perilous pug that sticks together a few rounds.

TL;DR: when pigging on PS4, I assume 30-40% of my actually playtime is spent....not being able to play.

Edit: all these weird words/broken syntax is brought to you by iPhone autocorrect

Same here. I leave whenever I see an elementalist. And the key drop bug happens maybe once every third day of gaming or something like that. Really rare. Simply because I adamantly avoid the class.

I leave a lot of lobbies because of it though, but I always leave a kickvote behind for the elementalist. Maybe at some point they take the hint. I dont have anyting against the class but if they make my games uncompletable it's just simply not worth it.

Other than that I do have crashes, disconnections, errors and such not too often, but most likely more than any other multiplayer game I have ever played. They have really done some sloppy work when coding this online mode.

Too bad elementalists are the pariahs as the class is fun to play.  I don't get the bug often when I play that class because I do not spec into meteor swarm (or whatever it is called) and stick to freeze, the small area fire spell and barrier.  I can understand why people avoid it thought.

Misconnect with some lobbies? Don't worry?

It is a far, far better lobby that you join, than you could have joined;

it is a far, far better PuG that you go to than you have ever known.

You cant know if the person has firestorm or not before you are in the game, and then it is too late. So just avoiding them completely is just more simple.

I also know that it is not ONLY the elementalist that bugs out games, but having them in the game makes it 80% more likely to happen. It's been like this for a very long time now, so it surprises me that people still choose to play pugs with it, unless you actually inform people that you dont run firestorm. And that weekend elemental challenge didnt really help. I did it in one run with an icey necromancer.

Elementalist is probably one of my favorite classes, both to play and to play with - so it is a shame really.

The very first paragraph of that book is a pretty appropriate commentary on DAMP as well if you ask me.

If you want to be a jerk like me when desperate to level up you start your lobby solo and then wait for the unwary victims to join.  I actually did have a guy in a lobby ask me of my build before putting the boots to me in one game which I was very appreciative of.

I do this a lot too.  Ironic that they call it "Quick Match".

Anyone else notice that 90% of the time it is the leader who is gone?

And then i thought it was just me and my pc. :D :P

It takes ages to connect and to start up so I can cry for joy when i meet a few players that stay connected all together for a while and i can play a few games in a row. Otherwise it's like playing 3-4 games per hour due to faults, failures and errors. It's really a menace and it makes you think who the heck coded the game like it is now. Terrible job done, if i would do that to my customers i would have been out of a job long ago.

sooo glad I uninstalled the DLC.  very rarely experiencing these issues anymore.  that said, I did have a couple of (XB1) CTDs over the weekend, but gonna say roughly 95% success (no bugs) rate with vanilla DAMP.

I don't keep the count, but I would have my Katari banner already if not for all the crashes.

By far my worst class.  I just stink as a Katari, more feeble than any other class.  He's pretty good on the lowest level but other than that I'm history unless i have a good barrier caster in the group.

Perhaps, with apologies to Dickens, that would go something like this...

  • It was the best of times,
  • it was the worst of times,
  • it was the age of OP builds,
  • it was the age of foolish PuGs,
  • it was the epoch of a rocking team,
  • it was the epoch of a dismal key glitch,
  • it was the season of the Inquisition’s agents,
  • it was the season of the Elder One's minions,
  • it was the spring of hope for gold and XP,
  • it was the winter of Demon Commanders.

It eludes me. It also elude me why we can't cancel a stuck connection attempt with a key or click and instead have to alt-f4.

You don't need to leave for someone's loud music. You can mute them in the lobby or in the game. In the game, press V to bring up the screen.

Yesterday again: five games in a row where the key bugged out, usually after we already ran two or three levels. At least ten times a disconnect plus two loading screens before I could sucessfully join a quickmatch. Then you are victim to a overconfident solo player or a rusher group which just ignores treasure rooms and usually gets itself killed in its hectic. Then a true good team, and, bam, it gets destroyed again by the no-key bug.

I should probably leave that game and come back in a month. It is wasn´t for my goddamn addictive behaviourism, though. I bought it now, even before the christmas/new-year special offer and I want to play it now!!! Guddammit!

I can play for days without the key bug. Are you playing with elementalists in your group? Well then its kinda your own fault by now..

In my impression, it is not only Elementalists. Also Necromancers with Ice Storm can cause it, any area effect which somehow goes wrong.
