... could you imagine how epic Thedas could be if Bioware had more funding?

So, what are some of your favourite actors you'd like to hear in Dragon Age games? Feel free to elaborate on your choice(s) :)

I personally would be tickled if we could have a villain voiced by Jeremy Irons. Bonus points for having his character as a mentor figure before revealing himself as the villain :)

I like The Cassandra VA but I hate it when she says "hold on to that sense of humor"

If money is no object, James Earl Jones voicing the villain.

On a more realistic note, I've always loved Rene Auberjonois's voice. (Mr. House in FNV, Odo in DS9, Father Mulchaey in MASH, and the chef in The Little Mermaid.). He shows a tremendous range of voices and accents, and I've never found him less than believable in any role he's played.

I'd love to see Liam McIntyre or Karen Strassman lend their voices to a Dragon Age game, they'd be perfect for City Elf Wardens characters.

I really like Liam McIntyre, and think he filled some pretty big shoes in Spartacus admirably well. I miss Andy Whitfield, though...

And Morgan Freeman as the Maker - if they ever decide to give him a voice :D

But, yes, Rene Auberjonois is pretty damn cool :) I loved him as Odo :)

If Sean Bean ever voices one of our male protagonists, I'll play nothing but that , forever.

Joseph Kucan would be great voicing a high-ranking Tevinter magister.

Let's just hope that Bioware would not force us to sacrifice our protagonist in that case. Sean Bean MUST have one title where his character survives :P

Cassandra's actress seems to struggle with some lines (is it because holding that accent is hard?) like "I'm such a fool", when Cassandra finds out Varric has been duping her all along coming out very awkward in that situation, but sometimes she hits the mark perfectly like in the prologue, you can hear that Cassandra is on the brink of crying.

If we'd have her as a female protagonist, I'd set up camp in front of Bioware in Edmonton, and give out cupcakes to all their employees :D

Frank Vincent for The Iron Bull. Sorry for this one, I know the guy who voices him is very enthusiastic and funny and he likes playing games and all...

I don't get why Cassandra talks very slowly and loudly, like declamating. The actress speaks like a normal person. I like the sound of her voice very much, it's the speech pattern that's funny to me. But I wouldn't pick anyone else for her, I'm just curious about her decision to voice Cassandra this way.

Overall voices are one of the best things of the game, extra money should go to animations instead imo.

I find to my ears that everyone with an accent sounds weird at times. Even if the accent is real, eg. Leliana. There's occasionally an awkwardness there, a difference of cadence or inflection with how the words would be said in English that makes the line sound fake or cheesy.

I thought Raison's was one of the least offensive accent in any Bioware game with very few cringe-worthy lines and a lot of excellent ones. Ymmv, of course.

I wish it was possible to have little pocket sized Morgan Freeman that you could carry on your shoulders and have him narrate your life , damn the dude's voice is epic.

My main two have already been said (Charles Dance and Sean Bean) but there are many voices it would be a pleasure to hear in future DA titles.

Anna Torv, Tom Hiddleston, Stephen Rea are three I'd really love.

I want him to narrate my life, like in the Stanley Parable... My life would be so much more interesting then :P
