So I've finished my rogue playthrough. Took a break and played some Far Cry 4 but I'm getting kind of bored of it and hate all the story missions. So I'm getting ready for another playthrough but can't make up my mind. I want to play a warrior. My first playthrough was a Qunari warrior but after I went reaver I hated it and rushed to the end so I want a new warrior. But, I can't make up my mind between human or dwarf, 2 hand or S&S, templar or champion. Anyone else have that problem where you wanna play again but get stuck on the details?
Stuck for next playthrough

I enjoyed playing a Vanguard Templar with two-hand up to Pommel 2 and Mighty 2. This might be good if you felt two-hander ++ was too intense and would rather control then rage fervor. I like the two hand weapons. One of the vanguard perks to boost guard is broken I hear
Having an archer that crits on panic is a lot of DPS with war horn and terror companions. I was thinking hook to target then dash to flank with that build might be good, but don't know
I just tried that gain focus on combo perks and with Cass's Wrath of Heaven preferred always max focus with my guys main attacks. Just saying using a focus power might be fun
Knight Enchanter is reputed very OP but a two button hack

I'm about ready to flip a coin on being human or dwarf. If I can get over that I can just start playing and maybe the rest will come organic. Templar sounds cool but I dont like they're mostly anti-demon and from an RP I don't like lyrium addiction. Champion would be ok for S&S and work for 2 hander with To The Death or whatever it is. I'm gonna decide this one way or another today. Leaning human...no, dawrf...no human.

The answer is to always be a Dwarf with a glorious beard.

Yeah but I don't want to wait for the Glorious Beard DLC. I...I actually made my dwarf rogue beardless because the beards are so bad...beardless dwarf is like a tall hobbit, or a fat elf but there you go.

What you need is a dwarven champion with a massive warhammer.

Champion is more about being a tank than fun (I'd go with Templar in that matter), but if you like being a tank there's hardly a better specialization.
I'm currently playing an one handed + shield Warrior-Champion with some points in Battlemaster (Grappling Hook is just endless fun, especially when you do things like grappling a Rage demon up a bridge
).
...althought I admit it has awakened some dark side in me.... -grabs Fennec, kicks it to death, hears his character scream "Die!!" as it squeaks in agony, grimly smiles

Curious why you don't try a completely new class since you played warrior already?
I played 2H warrior to L13 but found gameplay a little simplistic. After initially failing at DW rogue I tried again with a different strategy and now absolutely love it.

Currently going throug the game with a half tanking S&S warrior and I can say it's hella fun! It's semi fast paced, something between Rouge and full tank warrior and once you get your guards up you became basically invisible. I'm using slightly bit modded version of this build (I don't use Shield Wall that much, I'm more into passive abilities), hope this helps
If you need more ideas I recommend to check other his videos, he go basically all the basic classes and almost all specialitions covered.

I'm playing a classic S&S/Champion in my second playthrough, and I really like the change in gameplay that came with this class. At least until I get the 'gain Guard on hit'-gear

1. Andrastian Chantry zealot Templar
2. self-righteous Dalish elf (mage or archer)
3. ******* carta swindler rogue (DW)

Dwarf rogues are epic, and you get access to Legion gear, by far the best in the game, bypass all the crap sides and complete the story in 10hrs
. If you can get past all the bugs without head slamming the desk
.

Because I've already done a mage and a rogue and enjoyed them. I liked warrior until I went Reaver. I kept thinking it would get beter but I came to the realization about level 14 it just wasn't for me and just rushed through the MQ to get it done so I could play something I enjoyed.
