I'm not sure how well Inquisition is selling, I honestly don't care. I personally think this series is just about dead. You can even tell by these forums that things have slowed down. Bioware refuses to go back to what worked and the majority of people are getting sick of it. Every game that EA produces releases with some tacked on garbage multiplayer with microtransactions. The entire business model is designed around scamming people while nickel and diming them and it's all perfectly legal.

EA is a cancer preying on this industry. It literally destroys everything it touches. And the best part? After nickel and diming all their customers, they can't even pay an American to answer your support ticket when you have an issue. All that money and you can't pay someone an honest wage to answer your phone? I have to commincate with someone half way across the world so you can pay them $1 a day? The greed knows no end and people continue to defend them and Bioware.

Let's face it, we're never going to get a real RPG out of this developer again. Once the doctors left it was all over. We all knew Bioware sold their soul to EA to make that garbage mmo that nobody even talks about anymore. Long live indy devs. One day scum publishers like EA will be irrelevant.

I visited www.google.com and could find no information supporting your claim, nor any information about this game at all.  Perhaps you'd like to cite a more specific source, preferably a scientifically-conducted poll of some sort?

I mean - you're making an empirical claim. Surely you have strong evidence for it, right?

What were you searching for in Google, "DAI sucks"?

Jokes aside, it always feels like the majority when it's your own opinion, whether it is reality or not. I'm sorry you don't like the direction the series is going in. I think enough people like it enough for it to continue. I'm not trying to make any sort of empirical claim, just a hunch. I personally feel it is very much not done, nor should it be.

All I got out of your OP was "I don't like Inquisition so BioWare should stop making it".

Because other people enjoying the game doesn't matter. Everybody must make games that ORTesc likes or else they are literally cancer.

Or make a game that works with a mouse and keyboard. Or make a game that doesn't involve low quality fetch quests. Or release a game without tacked on multiplayer with day one microtransactions.

"I don't like Inquisition and judging by every other gaming site including IGN, GS, and MetaCritic, a large portion, possibly majority, don't like Inquisition either".

EA is LITERALLY Cancer. I'm not sure many here would disagree.

It can be done at any time you'd like it to be. All you have to do is uninstall the games, and throw away any physical copies you have, if any. Then, when the next installment arrives, simply don't buy it. Presto, you're done with it.

I'm assuming these are different to the people who voted it GOTY in about 20 readers choice votes. Game isn't universally liked, by any means but I see plenty of praise also.

EA is LITERALLY Cancer. I'm not sure many here would disagree.

Are you absolutely sure you know what the word 'literally' means? I don't believe I know anyone who has died of EA.

Bolded words in quote are mine.

Actually, that's a silly statement that many here would disagree with, not least of all... people with cancer. EA is a big, soulless corporation, and as big, soulless corporations go, they're objectively better than Activision.

You're still hilariously overdramatic.

I should hope that many who value the English language would indeed disagree.

Also I don't understand the complaint about "day one" microtransactions.  Given that microtransactions exist (I haven't played much DAMP yet, but I loved ME3MP and didn't have any problem with microtransactions), what specifically is wrong with them being present on "day one"? Would you prefer that they be added in a DLC?

A: "We're sorry, you can't buy that chest on release day, that would be a day one microtransaction, and we can't have that. Please, feel free to buy the exact same chest tomorrow".

B: You need to work on your definition of "literally". EA is a software publisher, not a disease resulting from abnormal cell growth.

Now excuse me, I have a game to play rather than shitpost on the internet.

Even on Metacritic which is laughable on a good day it's about 50/50 ignoring mixed reviews. It can't be that bad on the internet though considering it's been winning reader's choice awards.

Of course, you act like Inquisition murdered your family or something. I mean I assume that you have entertained the idea that you don't have to buy BioWare games anymore, right?

I think there's also something involving a meme where something doesn't mean what you think it means in all of that.

Let's not straw man the post by defining words and taking everything so literally.

Perhaps we travel in different circles, but in my experience when somebody uses the word "literally" it suggests one of two things:

1) They intend for their statement to be taken literally

2) They do not understand what the word literally means.

Especially when the one speaking the word literally literally wasn't the initial person to speak it. Thus creating an endless straw man turning the attention of the thread into arguing about whom said what when and why instead of discussing the actual topic... being how bad this game is.
