Nonsense, OP.
I've been around the Bioware forums for a long time, and there's nothing particularly unusual about the level of activity around the release of this game, when compared to others. Except perhaps DA2, which saw a huge surge of hate and disappointment; so much so that they had to open another "general" forum for just the registered game owners, hoping to create a calmer place to discuss the game.
With Inquisition, following these forums, I see that criticism is more constructive, less of the "OMG THE WORST GAME EVER!" type. There are over dramatic responses, as there always are, blowing rather minor complaints totally out of proportion, but I get the feeling that the Inquisition forums get less and less of that.
People who initially complained about many things - myself included - who stuck with the game anyway, learned it's ways, and found many of their complaints less pressing, in the face of a game that was actually very good indeed.
It's not a perfect game, and it's got things that could be improved upon, but it IS a game worthy of the world of Dragon Age, one that I quite enjoy playing. And I'm not a casual gamer impressed by glitter and pretty pictures either - I've played mainly RPGs and strategy games since the late 1980's. Times change, and nostalgia gilds every memory of older, much loved games. That makes us older gamers sometimes a hard bunch to please, especially if you don't want to get stuck in the past, and avoid all change.
I'm in what I suspect is the majority, who is enjoying the game, and looking forward to a few fixes and improvements in future patches.
