NO!
I am so sick of all the nay-sayers. Sure, you are allowed your opinion but at this point ya'll are just band-wagoning
. I enjoyed the Dragon Age series tremendously. The end of DA:I makes me hungry for moar.
dlux could teach master courses on misdirection.
I can confirm that I had Professor dlux as a teacher last semester and he taught me a lot of valuable tips on misdirection and how to get others involved in pointless arguments based on my own half-baked thoughts! I highly recommend his course.

At this point you're just harassing him. Isn't it best to just let the matter be now that the guy (supposedly) isn't here?

To be honest I've blocked him/her because I *Just Could Not Be Bothered* with that sh!t.
I suggest everyone else who feels that way does the same.

I wasn't really planning on harassing anyone, if you're going to be a ninny then you're going to get called out for it, but sure if you find it too offensive I could just delete my post. I don't care for arguments on these forums anymore, was just trying to point out how silly this argument is

I don't block anyone, but if the alternative is to keep talking about him when the guy isn't even here, derailing a perfectly valid thread? Yeah, blocking all the way.

I don't find it offensive. Just think it's unnecessary deviation from the thread's topic, and figured I'd at least try to get the conversation away from dlux. ![]()

To be fair, this topic is ridiculous. If you're not into Dragon Age anymore and think it should be done, just stop buying and playing the games. The people who still enjoy it can continue buying and playing the games. Everyone wins.

Sure. Thing is, while I don't like the OP's tone, I think it's as fair a question as any-- "Do you think Inquisition is good enough to merit another DA game?"

Which is a different kind of topic, but I'd say that the 100 GOTY awards alone are a good indication that another DA game is merited for a lot of people.
I remember a developer saying sometime last month that sales were about as expected, as well. So I'm 99% sure we are getting another DA game.
The point is that if I ever do my RPG Maker game about destroying Bioware one of the party memebers is probably going to be called dlux
Any preference on class/race/powers/etc?
Should Dragon Age be done now?
IMO, no, it shouldn't. I love the franchise and I want it to live on and prosper.
The day I don't feel like that anymore, I will move on, not intending to flood threads and other people's ears with my salty tears.
As a whole, it is probably the best Dragon Age game. While top-selling game in some countries, it does not seem to do any good on the main markets.

Maybe it should be done after Inquisition DLCs. There are already too many variables to continue while maintaining meaningful impact of player choices.

Going to a far-off region in Thedas effectively solves this problem.

Whats the difference between doing this and starting new fantasy franchise? The horned guys?

A game set in another part of an already established world would have to adhere to that setting's rules and limitations, while a totally new one would, you know, not?
Bioware & EA Should Brake-up, Bio did better alone, it went down hill sins they became couple (couple part is a joke, but u should know what i mean), but i enjoy playing the game despite its flaws, but that does not mean i'm not disappointed a bit with it

With the growing distance the rules get more relaxed.
I guess that leaves us with the main character of the next game playing Spartacus with some Tevinter Slave Liberation Front.
There is absolutely no reason at all why the next game could not be set literally anywhere else in the Dragon Age universe.
It would still adhere to the rules of its setting and would still be canon. Maybe you would play a character who got shipwrecked and you had to get back, maybe you would play a Qunari, who's to say? Maybe a journey to the Sunless Lands, or into the north.
Just because it doesn't involve Thedas doesn't mean it wouldn't work. Bioware have created an entire world of which we have experienced a very small bit, there's loads of scope for more.
The next game is very likely to take place in Tevinter.

Why not? xD

If by relaxed you mean that we've got less information about the places we're going to - leaving the devs open to come up with new ideas, or flesh out previous ones, then yeah sure. I'm still pretty sure that everything works the same in all places of Thedas, though, barring thinned-out veils and other such magical shenanigans.
I don't think we'll get to Par Vollen and suddenly find out that the qunari was secretly a race of blue-haired anthro kittens all along, though.
Pretty sure. Sort of. ![]()
So it could be "Dragon Age: The Furry Fury"...?
THERE WILL BE MILK AND LIGHT SCRATCHING BEHIND THE EARS BEFORE NAPTIME! THE QUN DEMANDS IT! ![]()
